Pleasant SurprisePosted Jan 13, 2014
Pros: Great place to chill. Beach option or poolside. Had plenty of options. Loved that the mini bar was empty! Could fill with your own supplies.
Cons: Room service meals arrived cold. Need a better way to deliver, wrap plates so meals can be enjoyed. Towel collection in wrong place.
Location: Play golf, do watersports, shop at Bali Collection. Great restaurants 500m from hotel.
Having never stayed in Nusa Dua we were a bit apprehensive. Very pleasantly surprised by all the area has offer. Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms.

A Great Relaxing HolidayPosted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: Definitely the staff, the majority are very helpful and go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of.
Cons: I would like to see more snacks on the menus. It's very hot in Bali and you don't always feel like having a full meal.
Location: There is a lovely beach 5 minutes away. A huge shopping and restaurant area 10 minutes away.
Firstly, Nusa Dua is a beautiful area, quiet and away from all the chaos at Kuta. Once you enter through the Nusa Dua gateway the gardens are immaculately tended with beautiful trees and plants, exotic flowers and Balinese statues. There are many beautiful hotels and all have security guards at the entrances if this comforts you. The Novotel at Nusa Dua is a lovely hotel, our room was beautiful and spacious, looking out onto lovely green gardens. The pool was excellent, winding around the bar/casual restaurant area. One part of the pool was an infinity pool dropping into a second pool below. Plenty of room for all guests to sun themselves. One thing to say is all the staff are just wonderful and friendly, can't say enough how they go beyond the norm to make sure you are happy. It's disappointing that you can't just wander down to the beach, but the 5 minute bus trip is regularly available every 15 minutes and the beach club is lovely. Be aware what time of year you are travelling because late December we found the current at the beach quite strong and it was difficult to get out of the water (we are quite fit). The food was plentiful for all tastes and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Perhaps a few more snack type foods during the day would be good. We had a couple of issues with the tourist attraction desk which was a little confusing, but, overall a fabulous relaxing holiday interspersed with the usual Bali chaos when we left Nusa Dua for the MANY tourist attractions.

A lovely, family friendly experiencePosted Nov 22, 2013
This was our first holiday overseas with our 16 month old daughter. We have never been treated so well. The staff were amazing and so accommodating, and we didn't want for anything ; cots, high chairs, it was all on hand. Would definitely stay there again. The food was great, and the beach area is such a nice place to while the day away (the hotel pool is also good for this). A great choice for families.

Lovely pool and hotel environment.Posted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: The pool and grounds. Relaxing atmosphere and quiet.
Cons: Double sofa/day bed for children as in many other Novotels. A/C hard to adjust - could do with some instructions!
Location: Very secluded area with a shopping centre and beach reachable by shuttle bus. Tours available around the island from the hotel.
The hotel grounds and pool were beautiful and there were plenty of activities in and around the pool (volleyball, aerobics, ping pong, etc) to keep the older kids happy. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very spacious with a fairly well equipped kitchen area. Be aware that the extra bed in the room available for kids is a single. An extra bed needs to be brought in if you have two older children, at possible extra cost.

Lovely hotel with lots of amenities.Posted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, the teenager club, the health spa.
Cons: The sewerage, as we had a toilet blockage a couple of times.
Location: The location was close to the beach,Bali Collections and other sight seeing and activities you might want to do.
This was our second time at the Novotel and again we found it very enjoyable, the two bedroom accommodation was very spacious and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was spacious for everyone to swim in and the health spa was a delight to attend with its long opening hours. The beach is only a short shuttle bus ride where you can also dine there at night. Bali Collections is also nearby, the hotel provides a free shuttle bus or you could walk,( it is a10 minute walk) as there are lots of restaurants and shops that are all very we'll priced. If you wish to go to Kuta or another place you can always work out a price with the taxi drivers. Overall we had a very relaxing enjoyable holiday with perfect weather everyday.

Fantastic resort for familiesPosted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: Clean rooms...friendly staff...Fabulous pool
We stayed in the one bedroom suites and the two kids slept in the family room on single beds.. Loads of room with a dining table for six and small kitchen with full size fridge and freezer. The pool was AMAZING for kids...with volleyball net and activities around the pool for kids ie. table tennis... The private beach was beautiful...so clean and on certain nights they have a beach banquet set up which was a highlight for our trip. Our son is coeliac and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful providing Gluten free food for him at each meal. They really went above and beyond.... Would highly recommend this resort....

Good hotelPosted Sep 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
I'd recommend this hotel for families. Plenty of space, beach is close, nice facility, good restaurants and room service. I enjoyed the spa, had massages, pedicure, and body mask w/ bath. Prices were very reasonable. Nusa Dua area has the best clean and calm beach for relaxing, which I wanted.

Great but needs more blinds as lots of light come ins and for young families it helps with kids sleeping during the day.
