Small, clean hotel with good staff.Posted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: The staff could not do enough. The pool was lovely and very clean.
Cons: The rooms could do with a fresh coat of paint.
Location: There was a restaurant on site, a few restaurants very close, a supermarket across the road, a spa across the road.
Nice hotel easy reach of anywhere we wanted to go. Courtesy bus to Seminyak Square. The on site spa was expensive in comparison to walking directly across the road for the same treatment and the prices were non negotiable despite the fact there was never anyone using it. Breakfast was good in a lovely little breakfast room. Shower was not working when we first arrived, as soon as we reported it someone came along to fix it. Would definately stay again.

I would return to the Ivory......Posted Jul 15, 2013
I had a few hiccups at the start! I wasn't picked up at that airport that had been arranged prior, and the air-conditioner in my room when i first arrived was causing the room to smell of dampness. Both these problems were corrected, I was moved to another room, and at a later date I was taken by their courtesy bus on a trip that more than made up for the airport mishap. I loved the Ivory and would return for another holiday. It is an older resort, but you get what you pay for and the ivory is value for money. The rooms are basic but comfortable and are cleaned when you want. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, I had the pool to myself most days, and I did like being out a bit further. On the whole I would return to the Ivory without a doubt, The deal I recieved through Expedia was the best I could find.....thank you very much.

Great value for money!Posted Mar 17, 2013
Pros: The staff and the private day bed
Cons: The wifi
Location: I am in Bali a lot, so I quite liked the location. However if you have never visited bali, it may be a little too far out.
Great value for money. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be the wifi is very slow and tempremental and you need to log in everytime you need to use it. I was in Bali for business so this was annoying. I would suggest if you don't know Bali and want to be in the thick of things, this end of Petitenget probably isn't for you. Overall, a great hotel for the price.
good locationPosted Mar 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
It's ok hotel for the price you pay . It's good location , quite close to the center , nice pool, clean rooms although a bit worn . They say they provide the shuttle bus - don't expect that on the weekend - drivers are off , so no such service provided. I've also booked the car with a driver thru the hotel . Don't do that ! You'll be better of to arrange this thru one of many travel agents. Driver didn't understand English well, was not really communicative , it was me always asking where we are and if we can stop . It was a bit of nightmare. Beach is reachable by foot but no real pavement on the road, so it's quite a challenge to walk there . Next time in Bali I would opt to stay somewhere else.

Great hotel for the price!!Posted Feb 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel property and the room were fantastic! It was always quiet and relaxing for the 3 days we stayed here. The room was very spacious and all of the rooms have a small patio area with a comfortable sofa, and the option to close blinds to make it a private lounge area. Very clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. It is not the most luxurious hotel in the area, but perfect for the price. The pool was rarely occupied, so we usually had it all to ourselves. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would consider staying again. The only reason I do not give a perfect score is because on our final morning, the hotel staff forgot the wake-up call we asked for the previous night, and we slept in 2 hours later than we wanted to. They said they tried calling but we did not answer...which is definitely not true. Regardless, they should come to the room if there is no answer to be sure we don't miss something important...like our flight!

Thrilled!Posted Dec 12, 2012
Pros: The spa, the private outdoor patios and the king beds
Location: The location is a 2 minute drive out from the main shopping part, down the road from Sarong and the perfect distance to feel removed but close enough
The Ivory Resort is the perfect Seminyak getaway. Secluded and comfortable the facilities allow you to feel as though you have lived there for years. The staff were among the nicest resort staff I have ever encountered. Special mention to Gooday (ignore the spelling) who picked us up - he was wonderful and the most welcoming host to Bali and Ivory. The staff were more than accommodating, when my boyfriend fell sick they saved me a trip to the pharmacy and assisted me with providing medicine and care instructions! The spa hosts the best massages I encountered across the island, and flap jacks' breakfasts are really tasty. I would go back to the Ivory in a heartbeat! The hotel is only 2 years old so the facilities are up to par and the out-door private patios are wonderful for an evening relax. Would recommend this for anyone and everyone. I am thoroughly pleased and impressed. Thank you Ivory for a wonderful stay! Definite value for money! Thanks Ivory!!
