“Very nice but we wished we were closer to town”
The amenities and service at this high-end resort were excellent and we felt we got great value for what we paid. he free shuttle service is convenient, and the location is beautiful. However, we wished we had stayed closer to central Ubud. We noticed in walking around that there were some equally nice options that were more easily walkable on the other side of town (e.g. in Campuan).

“Doesn't live up to its potential”
staff was generally nice but the policy towards over-charging guests for EVERYTHING is ridiculous. There is a lot more potential to this hotel including the quality of the rooms, up-keep, service, etc. It is a beautiful space but ownership/management hasn't taken advantage of it.
