“Very nice balinese style”
The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is huge, but the air conditioning wasn't working very well. The location is ok although it takes about 25 minutes walking from the centre. Anyway they offer shuttle service. I really enjoyed my stay in Kori Ubud and I would recommend this hotel for who is looking for a quite stay in Bali.
“Helpful staff, serene setting”
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Kori Ubud. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the rooms were spacious and private. We had our own enclosed patio space making us feel like we were the only ones on the property. The daily breakfast is delicious and filling. It's a short 10 minute drive from Central Ubud; the hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the hotel making it easy to get there. I would definitely stay there again.
“Relaxing”
This hotel is fantastic - it was a little way out of town but we had motorbikes and it did not matter (taxis are so cheap and easy to get). They also have a shuttle bus that will take you into the centre and back several times a day. The grounds were so peaceful and our room was so nice and if was definitely better than staying in the busy centre. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and I would definitely recommend to others. Upstairs rooms have great views of the rice paddy fields. The pool area was lovely and breakfasts were good value. We would definitely go back.
“Ubud's best”
We booked the hotel on line from our first destination in Bali. The description was good & within our budget. We were travelling with our 20yo daughter & found accommodation for three was difficult to find. We were very pleasantly surprised with the beautiful location & room. A single bed was placed in the room but because the room was so large no problem with space. The staff were extremely courteous, happy & very obliging. The breakfast & meals were perfect. We initially booked for one night then extended for one more night. The grounds & hotel were beautiful & well maintained.
“Very good”
Very good in every respect
“Fabulously beautiful hotel in Ubud!”
Very very beautiful hotel! Just gorgeous landscaping/setting/design. Rooms are amazing, very spacious with fabulous balinease style ceilings. Bathroom is huge and as for royalty! Fabulous staff! Hotel restaurant ok, but for greater variety head into ubud...tons of good restaurants everywhere.... only $3 US for a taxi in either direction (need local currency). Fabulous hotel, would stay there again! There are several restaurants in walking distance (generally more expensive than 'downtown'). DONT MISS THE Dance/Gamelon concerts in the 500 year old palace in the center of Ubud....amazing dance and music from bali...this is THE PLACE for Balinese dance and gamelon music!
“Relaxing”
Very quiet and relaxing. Very friendly and helpful staff.
“lovely hotel”
lovely hotel great breakfast they even phoned our next hotel to let them know we were arriving just a pity their shuttles to and from town are not very regular we had to phone them three times before they picked us up from town
“Good quality in Ubud”
A lovely place to stay. The room was good quality, spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel environs were excellent - beautifully landscaped, with a very attractive pool area. The pool itself was modestly-sized (perhaps 15m x 8m). The staff were good humoured and helpful. Perhaps the most obvious weakness is the food. Breakfast was adequate, but choice could be better. The dinner menu is unexciting, but one is unlikely to sit at the hotel when there are loads of excellent restaurants in Ubud. The spa is decent and service is friendly. But quite honestly one gets a better massage at Caroline's, almost next door, for about 25% of the price, and the latter is open in the evening - the hotel spa closes at 5pm. Location is approximately 2.5kms from the centre of Ubud. Taxis are abundant, but bargaining is often required All-in-all: happy to recommend Kori Ubud. I would return.
“Seen better days”
Great views of rice paddies from the rooms, but the hotel has seen better days. The furniture was worn, towels and bed linen stained and electricity sockets unsafe (my partner got a shock from one of the sockets). The hotel is set around 2km from Ubud (20-25 minute walk) and complimentary shuttles only run 4 times a day, and seemingly not at great times. The last free shuttle back to the hotel from Ubud is 6.30pm - way too early! I'm not sure if the mosquito paranoia is real or imagined, but we arrived back at the hotel one day to billowing clouds of insecticide (we were assured that it was safe to walk through the clouds of insecticide - um yeah right!), there were mosquito coils inside the room, outside the room and mosquito nets on the beds. Totally over the top. I tried to use the internet 3 times, and each time it failed to work. We also experienced a total power outage in our room a number of times. On the flip side, the breakfast is great and the staff very friendly and accomodating. The hotel is acceptable, but you could do much better for the price.
