This Hotel has been a good place for us to stay in the past, especially the pool villa's however, this recent visit shows up the years of poor maintenance and staff cut backs indicative of a struggling business.

The pool is good we enjoyed everyday,, but room condition is so poor,, we were asking for the non smoking room, but the room i think guest smoked there for a long time because smells stinky mould smell from the aircon filter, and full of dust like under the main bed especially extra bed we asked for. Toilet seat is not fully assembled after my man done nomber2,, the seat moved the side and i had to fix myself to use as a girl.

Wifi is unusable,For the New Years “compulsory” dinner we were only given 2 seats but the room was booked for 3. Shower towels were the size of hand towels and smelt like mould. Tv was tiny and only had 1 English Channel and if it worked, which was rare it was very poor quality. Breakfast was very disappointing with only a handful of options. Rooms are very outdated and are very unhygienic. We had to ask every night at 7PM!!! For new towels because are room was never cleaned. The pool looked as if it was never cleaned, lime green. Very disappointed

What a disappointment, now a budget hotel!
Wow where do I start! This used to be my favourite Hotel, but the owner needs to put his hand in his pocket and spend some money on what used to be a great hotel. Rooms are so overpriced for the condition of this hotel that would be lucky to be a 2 star property now. You can get 4 and 5 star accommodation in the area at cheaper prices with great rooms, great pool and great food. Walking in the room that had a broken TV, to having mould in the shower that had very little water pressure. You felt like you were walking on dirty floor in your room constantly. We had a pool access room that had constant infestation of ants, to sliding into a pool that had a broken filter system, broken tiles around the pool edges and pool full of dirt around our pool area. Woke up two morning to black water in the taps in the bathroom and not informed by staff that this had happened. Breakfast was extremely disappointing, with hardly any food available and many staff just standing around, where is the buffet that is expected at a hotel charging this sort of price? In the end we walked around to Coffee Corner and paid for an excellent breakfast and wasted the cost Of the breakfast paid for with the hotel. I feel for the staff who try to make you feel welcome, but if the owner is not supporting his team then you place yourself in the budget class hotel in Bali. You have lost us as customers and will pay the same as you charge for a cleaner, newer hotel in Bali. Support your Staff.

The staff was extremely helpful. We found our original room (Basic) fairly dark (teenagers would love it. ) But no problem to change to another room the de luxe with a four poster bed and balcony for an additional $20 per night. Well worth it. Very nice traditional Balinese resort.

Great place to stay in a poolside room. They could do with a bell at the swim up bar as it wasn’t often attended. Will definitely be back next year. Gluten free options available

Beautiful place.
The pool access room was fantastic. The staff very friendly and helpful. The lagoon pool is beautiful and the location very handy to shops and restaurants. As it is far set back from the busy Jl. Legian you don't hear the noise from the street or loud music from nightclubs. Beautiful quiet at night and peaceful.

The staff are all so friendly and everything is clean. The pool access rooms are the best !! This was my third stay there and will definitely be returning there on my next trip to Bali

Didn’t like our allocated room, no daylight had to pay $80 to upgrade. No tea/ coffee making facilities. Pool bar ran out of our choices for cocktails. Would stay there again as great location.

Located in a great area with plenty of cheap stalls, massages and restaurants in close walking distance. Rooms have not been updated in a long time so you get what you pay for, however rooms are very clean, and staff are great. We stayed in the basic superior and it was fine if you don't want to spend a lot of time there. Wifi is great speed. Resort has a great Balinese feel, and it is very quiet. Massive pool area with swim up bar which is great, however bar is not always manned. Small buffet breakfast but enough there for anyone to pick from and quality is great. We would stay here again.

We had a great time, The staff were excellent as it was our first time to Bali they Suggested all different activities and didn’t disappoint. We had a few days just relaxing at the hotel and the pool was great to sit around and relax. We would stay there again

We have stayed here at this property several times since time of opening many years ago. First in pool access rooms, then pool villas and the last few years in the private pool villas. Never a bad time although the hotel has become possibly aged and may not suit everyone's tastes because of that aged appearance. The main pool is a gem, the private pool villa pools are generally well kept and despite some aged appearance are absolutely peachy.! Staff have always been pleasant every time we have stayed here and the location is pretty good also.

Friendly staff, great location but downfalls are - depending on were your room is DONT expect to get wifi signal - room balcony in full sun so couldn't sit there between 6.30 am - 12.00 pm - satilite channels really means 10 indonesian channels, kids channel, French news, one au news channel and British news. - traditional grass roof was nice but smell was overpowering. I recommend paying the extra to stay somewhere else

We were dissapointed in the whole place its run down and the pool entree area is filth .the service was ordinary we checked out 5 days before our time was up and they couldnt even get the account rite when we were leaving always forgetting things when they cleaned the rooms english was bad .

We stayed in a private villa for our anniversary. The entry door to the villa courtyard was unable to be locked and could be seen through. The villa pool or at least half of it could be viewed by neighbours from a backing property. The pool and courtyard area was run down and poorly maintained. I suppose the biggest issue we had was our bed, it was 2 singles put together so you had 2 thick seams in the middle, so could only lie on one side or the other, never in the middle. The room other than this was really nice. The pool towels didn’t cover the pool lounges so we signed a couple of additional towels from main pool but these were removed and not replaced by housekeeping. The pool chairs got super hot as they were vinyl. We had breakfast included but after first morning went out to other places for breaky as it was very basic and bland. I did ask for a couple of poached eggs and after about 20mins and asking if they were made gave up as they had forgotten. We requested and were happy to pay for hotel transport on our arrival, which was confirmed but no one was at airport. They did give us free return transfer on our departure which was good but all in all I wouldn’t stay here again and it wasn’t cheap.

This was the 4th time I have stayed at the Kuta Lagoon Resort - The staff are always present and helpful. I had a pool access room which was fantastic considering the humidity at this time of the year. My room was clean and the cleaners were very friendly and attentive. I would say that the only think that I could fault about the resort is the breakfast - not very interesting/ almost the same every day I went up there. I ended up going out the last few day. Next time I will probably just book without including the breakfast.

Nice, quiet hotel in good location
The hotel was lovely, enjoyed the beautiful pool. The rooms are clean and bed very comfy. Loved the balcony with pool view. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only the breakfast could be improved.Location was great, short walk to shopping and lovely restaurants. I can recomend this hotel.

Just got back. Stayed in poolaccess room . This was best decision with a 6yo. Room was very dated but reasonable Breakfast was ok, but got a little boring by end. Everyone in our froup eww as far drom impressed with coffee undrinkable. Pool bar was hard to get service and they need to tell you happy hour you cabt mix Bintang and radlwr even though basically same. Wasn't till we qent to get the free one we were told. Spa was amazing , staff were fantastic. We will stay again just nice to some atmosphere at pool bar and service, maybe ypdate rooms a litte. And little more breakfast variety. Over all nice place.
