Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for their guests.
Cons: A larger selection of movies to borrow from the reception!
Location: Candidasa is a quiet area of Bali but with some fantastic restaurants and lovely locals. It is the Bali of 20 years ago.
A wonderful base with which to spend a relaxing 5 night stay in Bali. A funky boutique hotel where the original french ownership is evident.

Pros: Central, big pool, cheap price
Cons: Quality reflected the price! Lack of care and attention to details and what the holiday makers needs are.
Location: Central to the lagoon and pretty views. Easy to travel around the region.
The potential was there and first impressions were good but totally impractical. No privacy, visitors to restaurant walked through all the time, large group of staff hung out by the pool in one off the few shady areas, housekeeping entered at their will! Pool large and good but not cleaned even when we asked they wouldn't do as it was ' too hot' No shade around pool, no sunbeds except awful plastic bean bag beds that everyone avoided as they were too awkward and made you sweat. No place to relax even in the rooms. Breakfast dull, same every day and badly cooked. So this put us off using the restaurant any other time. Rooms missing some basics, long mirror, drying rack, chairs, towels bigger than a hand towel, even for the pool, appalling pillows. Positive was they were clean and bathroom nice and big!

It was a very nice hotel ! I would really like to stay there again if I'm going Bali . Staff are friendly , rooms are comfy , and the environment are clean .
