Good location and staff were very helpful!Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Location - on the beach and quiet. Air-conditioning - always worked well. The gardens - always well kept. The Staff - always friendly and smiling.
Cons: Tiles at the water line in the main pool could do with a good scrub. Wi-Fi is not very reliable - best in hotel lobby. Flies at breakfast table.
Location: Nice to be near the beach for a meal and sunset drinks. Close to spas, minimarts, money changers, restaurants at front of hotel.
Check in was fast and efficient and allocated room was good. Bed was a little too hard for me. Although some buildings are old and tired looking, the facility is kept very clean and well maintained and good value for money. We told our roomboy about the showerhead not having a cradle on the wall and bidet not draining and before you knew it, they were fixed as good as new, almost immediately. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, our roomboy, especially made us feel special, by making towel art and leaving flowers on our bed each day along with extra water bottles and toiletries and always had time for quick chat in the mornings. We had only a short stay of 5 nights and we enjoyed the breakfasts and ate 3 evening meals in the restaurant. Live music every night was provided to only a handful of guests, such a shame! The 2 swimming pools are adequate and the pool bar service for both food and drinks was great. The beach views from the restaurant was a big bonus. Overall, a relaxing stay for husband and I.

Great LocationPosted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Balinese ambience
Location: Close to good restaurants and of course the Beach front which I must say each year is looking cleaner and cleaner.
Second stay here - the staff are all very friendly and the facilities of the hotel are very good and I love the back pool. Gardens are nicely maintained and rooms are always cleaned well and breakfast is always good. The hotel rooms are a bit dated but sufficient but could do with a bit of a revamp however saying that this is one of the few hotels on the beach front maintaining the Balinese feel and at a reasonable price. I will not hesitate to stay again and certainly looking forward to seeing the staff's friendly faces.

Great value for money ResortPosted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: The hotel staff were always smiling and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Cons: The only thing I have to complain about is the pillows, they were very hard. I ended up buying my own pillow from the Mataharis store. Easy fixed.
Location: Great location on the beach with good restaurants and shopping nearby. A 20 minute walk takes you into Kuta to the Beachwalk shopping centre.
I had a wonderful time at this hotel. Check-in was easy and the staff were always helpful and cheery. Breakfast was good overlooking the sea. The pools are good however can become a little noisy with guests.

Hotel is very very run downPosted Feb 28, 2015
Should have known something was wrong when I had to pay on arrival. Paint peeling off walls in the room, the staff showed me 2 other rooms, 1 of them stunk of dampness and that was on the 2nd level, the other you had to struggle to open the door to balcony and they wanted an extra $20 a night for that. What a joke. There were quite a few people moving rooms because of various faults Expedia I deserve a refund , I wouldn't have paid $40 a night

Cons: We were not given the upgrade advertised and moved rooms 3 times before we found one that was barely acceptable

Need to update Hotel - but for a 3 star not Bad!Posted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: The Staff were very friendly and always willing to help, we went there for something different and to get the real Balinese experience.
Cons: Hotel needs a serious upgrade, doesn't need to be modernized just simply improve on the basic necessities. i.e good showers, comfortable beds, wifi.
Location: Great location right on Legain beach, lots of pubs and restaurants around and easy to get around. 20 minute walk via the beach to Kuta or 15 via roads
Staff were really friendly and willing to help. The food at the hotel was well prepared and generally cheaper than eating out if you don't have the time to walk around and search for cheaper clean places. On arrival the hotel seems like a very nice place its been well designed, lots of space and three pools After touring the hotel noticed that a lot f things were run down and not utilized to the fullest. Most of the resort and hotels aroun had different themed events during the entire festive period organised by the Hotels were as this one didn't only on New years Eve and Christmas, so if your looking for a retirement home then sure but on holiday you want to have the option of kicking back with a nice cocktail watch the sunset and listen to some good tunes by your hotel. The rooms are not as comfortable: Beds are hard but we hardly spent much time in the room anyway The water from the showers literally trickles and after a hot sticky day we were showering about three times. The Hotel claims to have wireless service but the only place you can actually get wireless is in the Lobby and occasionally dining area. We paid for buffet breakfast which was pretty much the same menu every day, it could do with a little bit more variety, also paid A$150 for the New years eve Gala dinner so not worth it. Most of the stuff were unsure of what was in any of the cocktails on offer which meant we spent lots of money experimenting on drinks but it was worth i

Old and TiredPosted Jan 5, 2015
Cons: New towels and bed linen would be a start
Location: Shopping was good, eating out was good, lots of opportunities to have a cool drink when you needed it.
This is an Old and Tired Hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful but our problem was with the towels and bed linen they were very old grey and stained, when we asked for the bed sheets to be changed after a week, next day they changed them top to bottom.
