“so good to bee true”
It was really one of the best hotels i have ever been. You feel like a king from the hospitality and the filoxenia for those who know this word. The only issue i have is that we were there on 12 of August and every day the ocean moved 3 km far inside from 16:00 until the next morning. And when you had the water in front of you you couldnt swim very well due to the depth. I am wondering that this is a good chance for those who have small children to learn them swim.
“A solid 4 star hotel”
Went there for 5 nights on a honeymoon. The hotel grounds are nice (not spectacular) to walk around with lush vegetation, ponds, etc. Stayed in the "superior room" which is accurately depicted in the Expedia pics. Quite clean, bed comfort OK, air-conditioner worked fine for us -- room was not damp. 1st floor terrace big enough for 2 people to sit outside and read/eat. Bathroom reasonably sized, good water pressure, plenty of hot water. No clocks in the room. Breakfast had a large selection of good tasting pan-Asian foods as well as fruits, omelets cooked to order, desserts. Service very friendly across the board; needed a new hair dryer & it was delivered in less than 5 minutes. Currency exchange at the hotel was at comparable rates as in-town exchangers. Internet is ridiculously expensive: $6/hr or $20/day. Walked to town and used hi-speed internet for 50 cents/hr. Didn't use the spa, which was about 4 times the price of in-town massages. Pool was OK; no view of anything from the poolside chairs. Beach is almost non-existent (i.e. less than 5 feet of beach) when the tide is in; when the tide is out there remains about 200 feet of tidepool-filled beach not conducive to laying out on.
“i am sure, that is Bali's best hotel”
My husband and me really liked the hotel. We travel a lot, and that was the best hotel we have been stayed. Beautiful hotel inside and outside as well. It's garden is marvolous and huge, our room was nice, clean and very comfortable. The aircondition system was super, because it worked when we were out of the room, no need to use the key for that. There was huge variation of breakfast. ..... one word for this hotel is:excellent!
“Average, not impressed at all”
The hotel looks nice, there are some setbacks though it is quite old and I personally think it needs a revamp. The air conditioning in the room didn't work although we called maintenance and in theory they fixed it, it kept blowing air but it was damp and not cold at all. Food is ok but expensive although they had a voucher offer for discounts on food and drinks.
“Melia Bali in Nusa Dua region”
all good...the rafting, mountain biking, Manta Point and USS Liberty (booked through Tulumben Diving Shops), Jimbaron for outdoor seafood BBQ, running along the beaches of the hotels, Waterbom Waterpark in Kuta Beach and of course Ground Zero Memorial for the victims of the Niteclub violence in 2002.
“Very nice Resort!”
The Hotel was clean and well maintained. The pool and activities around the area were well organized. Evening entertainment geared for Adults not children. Beach was nice when the tide was in, but when out not pretty to look at, but fun for the children, as they could search through rock pools and find many facinating sea creatures.
“Good hotel to relax with the family”
Good kids club with diverse activities. Nice pools with nice activities for the adults. Several different restaurants with various cuisine. Points to improve: 1. We called 4 hours prior to our arrival to say that we will arrive at 9 PM (with very tired kids after a 4 hours drive) - the room was not ready. Really disappointing. 2. The bathrooms could be of a better standard for that price. 3. We were disappointed not to have a sea or pool view. Maybe this could be specified in the room type. 4. Babysitting could be offered to parents willing to enjoy time in the spa or else. Overall a really nice and relaxing experience. The staff really is focused on guests well being. We observed personalized greetings when when met staff in the corridors. You can go there with kids (ours were 3.5 and 6 years old).
“Nice garden”
Old rooms
“Very nice place”
Very nice place, well maintained, lot of green space, direct access to the beach, pool enough big, in our case we were in Duplex Suite giving right to access to private pool and beach that we have really appreciated. We noticed that majority of guests was a couples and group of friend and really a few guests with children so we think that this resort is more focused on people who look relax without family with children ruining around. we will return.
“çan't wait to go back”
very nice hotel, the only problem is the musty smell in the room. Very nice landscape and the buffet breakfast is excellent.
