“Friendly and Comfortable”

This was our third visit to Bali, having stayed at an hotel in Sanur on the last two occasions. The hotel was exceptionally friendly, clean and well organised with extremely good food in all of the restaurants and bars, with prices that were fair. We were made to feel at home and all the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. A couple staying at the vastly more expensive hotel next door spent their evenings at the Melia with us because it was so much more friendly. Am going back as soon as time will allow.

“Nice, quiet resort”

Very beautiful hotel, the pools and gardens were amazing, the room was clean and spacious, it's very nice if you are looking for a quiet resort. It is ideal for couples or families who wish to stay at the resort and enjoy all that it has to offer. However, the Nusa Dua area is very quiet and not ideal for those who want to go out and explore as you can't really go anywhere outside the resort without taking a taxi.

“Honeymoon heavan”

We had the best honeymoon ever, we got a room upgrade for the first 3 nights to a garden villa, and WOW what an amazing time we had, you were looked after ezxtra special, the only tiny complaint would be that the hotel could be managed a little better, bar service beside the pool lacked good management.

Everything was catered for, even halloween, really enjoyed our stay, the atmosphere was so comfortable and our major reason for our holiday was a rest and we did rest. The restaurants were all lovely, day spa was amazing and the pools catered for all. Highly recommend for anyone travelling.

“Lovely break”

We loved our short break at the Melia. The location was perfect for us, the beach setting is beautiful no beach sellers. Shopping was only a short walk away. The staff were very friendly, the food great and the beach activities they arranged every day were fun.

Although full, the hotel facilities were not crowded, unless you went to breakfast late. Finding a lounge chair in the shade after 11am was impossible, you had to go early and secure your spot with a towel or book. Apart from these minor issues, our stay was faultless. We will definitely stay here again and recommend the Melia Bali to anyone wanting a superb resort, outstanding spa and easy walk to great shopping too. Wine list could do with an upgrade, but we are fussy drinkers and the few wines from Australia and NZ were not up to scratch.

This hotel was great! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside is that everything was quite expensive in the area. You need to venture out to eat cheap etc. once out of Nusa Dua prices dropped alot. But i would definitely go back,

Excellent facilities for children especially different activities in water sports. Appreciated the use of guests departure lounge with free coffee & drinks, free internet, shower. Will come back again to use this hotel in the future & will upgrade to a better level of accommodation.
