“Nice place, but make sure to get a good room type.”

We boked a Premier room, but up on arrival we were given Deluxe room. We clearly remembered that our room was suppose to have a bathtub, so we complained and immediately were given a good room. Apart form that little accident everything was great. Beach was quite nice, what was difficult to find in Bali in fact. All area is isolated from the city , even though it's not far. It easy to access other luxury hotels from the beach. They may be better a bit, but the price is also double. I would definitely call it good value for the money.

“Can't wait to go back”

The Hotel is located in the best place of nusa dua resorts area. Following the world trend, resorts (SPA) hotels are too much expensive than normal ones. However, Nusa Dua has a great SERVICE and resonable prices. Everything is prepared carefully and people who works there are really polite. So, as the title clear say, I can't wait to go back and relax on Nusa Dua Beach Hotel. Have a nice trip !

Area recommendations
Uluwatu, Kuta, Ubud, Jinbarang, Padang Padang beach are the best places for visiting.

“Very nice”

My boyfriend and I splurged on this hotel when we were planning our trip to Bali, and it was well worth it! We spent our first two days relaxing by the beautiful pools, swim-up bar, and beach. It was a great way to get over our jet-lag! We also saw a great traditional Balinese dance at the hotel that they put on every Sunday. Our room was great and hotel service very prompt when we needed champagne glasses with cooler and ice. Overall, it was very nice pampering :)

Area recommendations
It's not really "in the neighborhood", but our trip to the Gili islands was the best place we went in Indonesia. It was so peaceful.

“Nusa Dua Hotel - simply the best”

Couldn't fault this hotel. At every turn were beautiful features. I loved the Nusa Dua area, quiet, clean, beautifully maintained. The Bali Collection - a piazza style shopping and eating area nearby with free shuttle bus every hour to all the hotels in the area was great. Beach lovely, pools lovely. The Spa area had everything - squash, tennis, great gym, tranquil lap pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi. If this was the only pool, it would have been perfectly acceptable. Best hotel I have stayed in.

When to go
We visited early May. Still a little cloudy in the afternoon and very humid. Apparently, the weather cools to a comfortable 25 degrees in June July August with lessened humidity.
Getting around
Don't hire a car - roads too busy and no signs. Rather opt for driven option. We always took twice as long driving ourselves than the local drivers.
Must see
Rock Bar at the Ayana Hotel - must be best bar in the world. Go for sunset! See the temple at Uliwatu - amazing monkeys and views.
Shopping
Avoid Kuta except for Discovery Mall. Boutique shopping best in Seminyak but expensive by SA standards. Buy fine etchings from Ubud artists villages. Overall, not a shopping destination.
Dining
Not cheap to eat out like Thailand . Recommend Jimbaran for fresh sea food on the beach. Best bar in the world is The Rock Bar at the Ayana Hotel near Jimbaran. Senimyak has some good restaurants - recommend Bali Cafe there.

“Rememberable”

It was overally good, the only problem was noises caused by renovation whilst I was there. Most of the staff were nice.

Area recommendations
The same area and hotel because it was nice.
Other
Please use anti-sun for sun bathing. I didn't observe that so I got annoyed a lot.

“Amazing hotel will be back there soon”

Staff - Friendly, welcoming and willing to go the extra mile Hotel - Beautiful, spacious, very clean and inviting Food and drinks - were moderately priced for bali however the meals were quality and you received good portions. Over all a perfect place to spend your time in Bali

When to go
I prefer the wet season which is around Christmas.
Getting around
Don't waist your time walking just get taxis (metered) or if they are un metered negotiate a rate but they are extremely cheap
What to pack
Just the basics thongs swimmers and a few going out clothes the rest you can buy quite cheaply.
Must see
First timers should go to Ubud Monkey forest, waterbomb park and the Safari Park It's a great day out
Shopping
Explore out side your comfort zone, every thing is very safe there and you will be rewarded.
Nightlife
Most restaurants have live music nightly so get out of your hotel and explore.

“Can't wait to go back!”

Starting with check in and ending with check out: Every person around the hotel was extremely courteous. The employee's seems genuinly happy to be there and to assist you with anything you need. Staff at the hotel would also go out of thier way to tryand assist you with any endeavor that you had planned. This hotel is close to a quaint little market, less than a miles walk. In another direction is The Bali Collection, in which there a multitude of stores and resturaunts to visit. There is a little Red Bus that offers free transportation to and from the Bali Collection. There are also little shops and a bank located in the hotel. The resturaunt and room service food are delicious. The atmosphere at this location was amazing and we can not wait to return.

Area recommendations
Nusa Dua is a beautiful location right next to the beach with multiple resorts all along the coast. The poeple are very friendly and it has a great atmosphere. We also travelled to Ubud, which is a very "happening" place. It is surrounded by forrest and there is always something to do. There a lot of different people to talk to and meet. Kuta has a lot of nice wood working shops.
When to go
We talked to a lot of the staff and they stated that their busiest times are December-January and May-August. So if you're looking to be around a lot of people these are the times for you. The slowest months are November and February. the other months are reported to be moderate flow of people. The wet season starts around October until about April. We went at the end of September to the beggining of October and it was amazing! It was hos and humid, however not unbearable.
Getting around
There are plenty of Taxi's and tour buses. However we recommend if you are going to make a day of it and want to see as much as you can, hire a driver. They are fairly inexpensive and well worth it! In nusa dua however, all the shops are pretty much in walking distance, unless you want to venture out of town.

“Historic resort in need of a face lift”

This resort hotel boasts of very distinctive Balinese style architecture, which I find attractive compared to more contemporary hotels in the area. The rooms were clean and the staff service overall was good. However, the property is showing signs of age and need for updates. While we were there, one section of the hotel was under fairly substantial renovation. My main gripe is that the swimming pool was still not renovated and it was in fairly bad shape..stained tiles etc and terribly in need of a face lift. The restaurant choices were also limited..especially for dinner.

“has not kept up with time”

Advertised as a member of THE LEADING HOTELS , the hotel did not live upto expectations. A 5 star facility but no WI FI. One has to pay for use of internet There was no fruit basket in the room. I wonder how the hotel can compete with the likes of Laguna, Hyatt etc.
