We have stayed here previously and enjoyed.Posted Jul 13, 2014
We were disappointed as we paid extra for the palace club wing, only to find it was over ran by unruly children who's parents did not consider others. Previously we had enjoyed the palace club. We stayed for 10 nights but only did the cocktail evening once as we thought it inappropriate for children to be running through the area. We do not go to the kids club. We will be looking for a child free resort next time. We will not be returning. This wAs our third stay at this resort. It will be our last.

Good hotel for the pricePosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Breakfast buffet, housekeeping
Cons: Food prices, pool access, beach activities, customer service
We stayed at the hotel for about a week and thought it was just ok. The amount of pools was somewhat misleading, some were too small or not worth swimming in. The hotel is on the beach but the beach wasn't that nice. The breakfast buffet was really good. The hotel has a taxi counter but all of the rates were almost double than what they would be if you just ask for a metered taxi and pay in cash. Food prices were pretty expensive and alcohol was way more than expected. The rooms were clean except for bathroom sink which didn't drain properly. Whenever you purchase food or drinks at the hotel, you don't get a receipt. When we departed from the hotel the bell service employees just dropped our luggage at the curb and walked away. Thanks for all the help.

Great hotel, terrible staff and customer handlingPosted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: The hotel was gorgeous with clean pools and beautiful gardens. The deluxe room was small but clean and very well decorated. The water was clean
Cons: Improve customer handling, if the hotel makes a mistake, compensation via a free spa treatment, food or drink voucher would suffice.
Location: Location far from Bali CBD, but nearby lots of hotels to dine at or have spa treatments. Mulia to dine, Royal spa for treatments - amazing!
We booked the hotel via expedia in advance and received confirmation without any necessary additional confirmation to be required. Upon arriving we were exhausted, we were kept waiting 2 hours as the staff were unable to find our reservation via expedia. The staff spoke very little English. We were not given any compensation and were thrown in the only room available. On the confirmation email received from expedia, it states we do not need to check out until 12 midnight of the check out day. At the lobby we were advised its 12midday and this was supposedly kindly extended to 2pm. Unfortunately upon returning from the pool we were unable to access our room at 12.30pm! Another hassle we had to dispute and lost 1hour explaining ourselves to staff who spoke very little English. Furthermore, as all guest do, upon arrival, we received $5 vouchers off our total bill to use at the restaurant and bar upon spending $20. We dined at the restaurant and drank cocktails by the pool and were told we can pay later and use the vouchers if we charge it to our room. When we went to reception to fix our bills we were not able to use the $5 off voucher because the cocktail and restaurant bill was on a separate docket despite being purchased on the same night at the same time! Yet another disappointment.

Beautiful, tradiditional style hotel.Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Very clean, high quality food, polite staff. Traditional carvings in room, amazing pool, and the Day spa is to die for- amazing!
Cons: Kids club is a little small, but they do make up for it by going on 'excursions' around the hotel, and do activities outside. Staff were fantastic!
Location: Gated estate, feels safe & protected. Very clean, no 'crazy Bali' here, almost like a time machine, you can imagine this is what Bali used to be like.
This hotel is beautiful from the moment y drive up it's breathtaking entrance with its towering Balinese sculpture/water feature, the hotel is one of the first built in Nusa Dua, so the gardens are lush, all the sculpture & rock carvings are 'ancient' looking with green moss growing, just like you imagine tropical Bali to be. The staff can not do enough to help you, there are occasional language barriers but they apologise (it's not their fault, after all we are in their country), and they do anything to make you happy. We have stayed in both the normal hotel, and have also upgraded and stayed in the Palace club suites, all rooms are gorgeous, but the Palace benefits do make you feel extra special. The pool is right on the beach and you can easily swap between them, 4 restaurants to choose from every night, plus mere at nearby hotels & the very nearby shopping complex. Nusa Dua is just like Bali would have been 30 years ago before the tourism industry ravaged the island, the estate is gated, and once inside it is lush, clean, open ans safe. There is no dirtiness, no litter, no hawkers... It is an amazing place to locate yourself, when you want to go visit the 'real' Bali, with all the markets & hawkers and crazy stuff it is only a 20 minute taxi ride to Kuta (now the new toll bridge has been constructed Nusa Dua is very easy to access & only 25 minutes from the airport). You can go visit all of Balis crazy things, then come back to Nusa Dua and relax, unwind and enjoy.

Great place to stayPosted Jun 21, 2014
Pros: On the beach, choice of eating places and free shuttle to shops.
Cons: Better control of the beach towels, as you did not have to return them they were left on sun beds which made it difficult at times to find one.
Location: Lovely beach, very clean a nice walkway along Coast. Bike hire, free shuttle bus to shops, massage on beach.
Loved the position of the resort, staff and restaurants great. Would come back here and recommend it to friends.

Excellent hotelPosted Jun 6, 2014
The Nusa Dua Beach hotel was amazing. The hotel was on an excellent beach, the breakfast had an incredible number of selections, the pools were great and the staff was was very good. The only negative was that the food prices were higher than you would expect for Bali. We had an excellent visit to this hotel.
