“Great place to stay in Legian.”

We really enjoyed staying at the Padma. Wish we had stayed longer here than in the hotel we had in Tanjung Benoa. Only problem we had was on arrival, they gave us a garden view room when I had booked a Deluxe Lagoon view room. They didn't have a lagoon view room available until the next day so to make up for the error they gave us a Lagoon Access room for the night. It was dealt with quickly and without any fuss. We would definitely stay here again. Lagoon access great room, you walk out your patio door and step straight down into the pool. Fabulous. Breakfast choices were great, Deli Cafe also had great food and wonderful staff who were very friendly and happy to help. Liked the pillow option menu.

“Great facilities and service”

After an exhausting week of travelling we appreciated the "no hassles" luxury of this place and ability to just chill out and recuperate. The rooms are big, nicely decorated and well equipped, the buffet breakfasts were great, staff friendly and helpful and facilities (esp the 2 huge pools) were great. The gardens and many ponds are fantastic and the place is very quiet and restful. It is also well located being on the beach and close to Kuta with plenty of suitable eating places nearby. It costs a bit more but is worth it.

A really enjoyable stay. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, air-conditioner worked well (essential in January!) and overall the hotel was spotless. It was really well staffed and everyone was wonderfully friendly and helpful. There is an extensive breakfast buffet with an extraordinary array of choices but the majority of hot food contained meat. When I advised the restaurant staff that I was vegetarian they arranged to provide a suitable breakfast and were really attentive at the New Years Eve function to ensure I had enough choices.The girls at Mandira Day Spa were lovely and we walked out of there thoroughly relaxed and smelling fantastic. We enjoy walking so for us it was in a good position between Seminiak and Kuta. It's a great location with good amenities and I would definitely stay there again.

“Awesome resort with friendly staff.....loved it!”

My 12yo and I stayed at the Padma for a week and loved it. The staff are so friendly and the rooms are a great size with balconies. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and just loved everything about this resort. The buffet breakfast was awesome with so much choice to suit everyone. The location is great and easy to get around with plenty of shopping & restaurants close by. Can't praise this resort enough would love to stay there again.

Beautiful resort would highly recommend for families or couples, across the road from the beach or the shops are just outside. Very relaxing and peaceful within the resort.

“A short but thoroughly enjoyable stay”

I was very impressed with this hotel. The ambiance, staff, room, restaurants, pools, artwork, gardens, everything was pleasing with a very relaxed tropical feel. I arrived at about 4.00pm and was told my room was not yet ready and would be another hour. I was not happy as check in time was 2.00pm. The check in lady said she would see what she could do, suggested I had a coffee in the nearby Deli. Before I finished my coffee, she came to tell me my room was ready so a potentially negative experience was well handled and resolved. I was only staying in Legian for 3 nights so it was a short stay. My only negative comments are nothing to do with the hotel at all but I think may be of interest to people thinking of staying there. The hotel is situated on what is said to be one of Bali's premier beaches a several kilometre stretch of strand from Kuta through Legian to Seminyak. My visit was at the end of January. The beach was very dirty with litter everywhere. It was also very busy with beach bars and vendors along the whole length. It is entirely a 'mass tourism' type of beach, maybe good for surfers and family's who like crowds but not a romantic 'tropical getaway' destination. The same must be said for the shops, bars, restaurants, clubs etc of Kuta and Legian - if it is a young club type scene (or for men looking for 'night butterflies') then fine but for those seeking the culture and peace of Bali, Legian is a base to explore from, not such a destination in itself.

“A great holiday Resort”

Padma is a great resort. The staff are exceptional. Friendly warm service in all areas of the resort. Good spa with excellent operators. The food in the hotel restaurants was good with a superb buffet breakfast. The surroundings and pools are well maintained. The curtains in our room looked a bit tired but that is my only criticism because the room was very comfortable and clean. All in all a fabulous place to stay, very centrally located and I can highly recommend it to all. A great family resort.

“Very happy campers!”

We had a very enjoyable stay. They staff were extremely friendly. The Resort was always clean and tidy. Breakfast was yummy, with a huge range of food available for everybody.We spent most of our days swimming in the lagoon pool as we found this pool had a lot of shade! We took our 10 month old daughter along and would reccommend taking little ones along with you to this hotel!!!
