I would not recommend this property at all until serious changes are made. When we firat arrived the staff was friendly. We went to our room and it went downhill from there. The master bedroom air conditioning was broken, was told would fix the next day. We were offered a fan in 90 degree weather. No thank you. There was no other villas available at the time so they made up the 3rd bedroom, as we only booked a 2. The shower had no hot water or water pressure. The tub would not drain. Was told would fix the next day. The door on the 2nd bedroom would not close properly so bugs could come and go as they pleased. We were told would fix the next day. The room,3rd bedroom smelled terrible. The pool bath was so dirty I would not even let a dog in it. The kichen was also dirty with not everything as listed in it. Water dispenser missing, mini bar missing, water kettle missing. Wifi was not working, was told would fix tomorrow. We were hungry when we arrived but to our surpise the restaurant closes at 2pm. Oh, and managers reception as listed on the website does not really happen. Oh, and the bar listed on the site is also not there. The breakfast was horrible. We stayed 1 night as we really didnt have a choice. I spoke with Expedia the night we arrived with all the problems and they called the property and was told no manager was on duty. The next morning Expedia called back and was told the manager was on vacation. Thank goodness for Expedia as they were able to get us out.

Pleasant without being exciting - some great art work in the foyer of the hotel and well kept general facilities. Rooms needed to be repaired and had become tatty ..

Room was too dark. No extra power points in room to charge mobile devices. No gate so that anyone in 1 villa could go into the next villa, bath towels need replacement to new ones as the sides are already torn.

We spent 5 nights there. 3-bedroom villa is actually 2 buildings - one single storey (king bed) and 2-storey (2 x twin beds), with 3 doors/keys, and open sheltered living/dining space + kitchenette. There are no cooking utensils but you can tell the staff if you need them. Around two stray cats/kittens roam around but they don't cause any problems. Can get noisy depending on neighbours - also people could walk into your villa area as the gate facing common pool cannot be locked. But it didn't happen to us though and we didn't face any problems... probably as it was off-peak period. WiFi Internet connection is only available in living area but not strong/usable enough in the rooms. TV set is really small in bedroom...maybe 20" or 23". Breakfast that was included free is basic but ok - fried noodles/rice, sausages, eggs, croquettes, toast, pancakes, croissants, cornflakes yoghurt, fruits, coffee, tea etc. Staff were quite friendly and helpful- we experienced a no-show by a water-rafting agent and they helped us try and contact them. Place is a bit old and condition not great but okay/acceptable for vacation price-wise. If you're doing your own laundry, a very long rope to tie around the pillars of the dinning area to hang clothing would be very useful. We never walked out cos the roads are narrow and there were no nearby restaurants.

Had a couple of maintence issues, were fixed very promptly. Nice to get greeted by reception by my first name. Parts of the complex need some repair. Very quiet resort, love the shuttle to Jimabarin & into Discovery

good for relaxing and family trip
overall it's a very nice place to stay. we booked a one bedroom villa but was given a four bedrooms villa(with the other three locked), which is very spacious and well-equipped.we love the pool and the view is pretty.the villa is kind of dated but most facilities are still in good condition.the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Two weak points are insufficient hot water for shower and poor wifi connect, which are quite irritating. Anyway it's a good value for such a low price.

Would not stay here again or recommend. Was really quite dodgy. I booked a pool villa. When I checked in I had no pool. After complaining I was told the villa I booked had electrical issues and was not available till the next day. I was moved to a 4 bedroom villa with a pool for one night and told I had to change next day which was annoying as I was unable to unpack and settle in. Next day I had to pack up and was taken to a 2 bedroom villa which I was unhappy with as the view was a brick wall in one villa and the other had no bath tub. They then took me to a 3 bedroom villa which was just plain strange !! Turns out they do not have one bedroom villas at all, they just lock off the other villas and sell them all as one bedrooms. Also these villas as NOT at all private. You can see into the next one very easy. Also the staff just wander in and out without knocking or calling and twice I was caught undressed by staff wandering around which is just soooooo rude and disrespectful. The restaurant is horrible too but they give you the option of taking breakfast in your villa. I had to pay $5 for the hotel "courtesy" bus to take me somewhere one night, while when I visited the Four Seasons hotel down the road for dinner, their courtesy bus drove me back to Pat-Mase for free ( even though I wasn't staying at Four Seasons) The only positive was they let me stay in the villa for a complimentary late check out till 9pm due to the issues I had.

Been here before, loved it, so happy to return. First night wasn't so great. 4 very noisy people in a shared pool until 2200. Also, one of those men, came into our 'private' villa and I saw him urinating near our bedroom window! Complained to staff and the next day, we were moved into a quieter, more private villa. Thankfully. The last 3 nights were much more enjoyable. Would have been difficult, if we hadn't been offered a change of villa.

This villas is so awesome . The room , Swimming pool , staff and food was perfect place for stay with family.. very recommended to everyone for stay here at pat-mase by swissbel hotel jimbaran bali . This is mu trully experienced.

Overall are quite disappointing because the cafe don't have aircond and one of our room aircond blower break down and they did not settle the problem immediately. Another room we were staying got snake,frog and spider somemore. But their staff are really friendly and hope they can improve in the future.

Nice hotel to start from
They were there to pick us up from the airport at 1:45am and got us to the hotel quickly. The Villa room was quite nice and secluded. No hot water though, found out the gas had run out. Handy to a little 7/11 shop but no room bar fridge. They were happy to take us to a small shopping mart for 50,000 Rupiah each way. Staff were more than happy to help out any way they could, very polite and engaging. A nice basic breakfast menu.

Delightful holiday!
This was a family holiday to celebrate a 40th birthday. The villas are delightful at the quiet end of Jimbaran beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling and welcoming. The breakfast is basic and the restaurant small when the hotel is full, but this can be overcome by having breakfast in the villas.

Happy Stay with Family & Friends
Overall a great experience. Beautiful property with serene environment. We stayed here for 7 nights; and we enjoyed our stay. It was a good choice; specially since we were on a family vacation; and also had friends join us. The villas are nicely designed & located. Great for big family and friends gatherings / vacations. The condition of the villa was appealing. Only set-back was the food, we ordered a couple of times and except for pasta carbonara, everything else was disappointing. We hired a car (self driven) which we pre-arranged before landing in Bali, so it was easy to go around Kuta & Bali Island. I would strongly suggest getting a car for sure as it gives you flexibility in terms of time & movement; and you don't need to stick to a predefined plan. Hotel staff was very helpful, and always available whenever we needed anything.

The villa is lively and has it own swimming pool, which is nice and easy accessed. But it is a bit old and need renovation and check up for some parts. There is no hot water in one room of the villa. And we are woken up every morning by the roosters and dogs nearby. But the staff are friendly and the breakfast is good.

Lovely Villa, traditional decor, great for family
We had a 3 bedroom villa for our family of 6. The combination of the private pool (about 1m deep) & the shared pool (circular large pool, 1.4m deep & shared between 4 villas, but usually empty) meant that our kids could swim all day, every day, which was perfect. Very comfortable beds, lovely lay out, comfortable semi enclosed living area. Good to note that villa is a combination of small buildings - 1 for the main bed/bath, 1 for two bedrooms/bathrooms for our kids (2 story), 1 for living area & kitchen. The only drawback was the food. The inclusive breakfast was fine, something for everyone, but the room service menu items were terrible. They do not have a 'restaurant', and so this is maybe not surprising. However, great room service food is essential when you've had a long day out and you can't face another outing. We recommend researching close by options in Jimbaran, some (Grocer Grind, excellent quality) even have delivery service which we discovered on our last day.

Nice hotel, great relaxing location
Had a relaxing stay. Could relax in villas all day - with TV movies, free Wifi, room service and in-villa massage or stroll along Jimbaran Beach. Short day trips with driver on South Bali (Nusa Dua) easy and Ubud day trip possible with kids as well. BBQ seafood dinner on Jimbaran a great experience too. Two bedroom more difficult with younger kids as are completely separate villas (but next to each other so OK if older kids) Plenty of room for additional beds though. Villas were large and comfortable. Kids can live in the pool if they want to! Great stay at Bali.

Relaxing Bali hideaway
We have returned to these villas many times as it is in a quiet location yet still easily accessible by car/scooter to beaches, airport and Kuta area. We love the private pool and outdoor living area with traditional bali style. Staff are always great and the villa well maintained, freshly painted and very clean, although some things in need of replacement. If you like to be away from the busy chaos then you will enjoy staying here.

We are a family of five and stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom villa.Kids and parents had each a villa for themselves.Kids loved the private pool and the big shared pool ,which is right next door.Very relaxing holiday!

Stayed there 5 nights in a 4 bedroom villa. 1 room - shower doesn't work 1 room - Cold shower only and there's almost no water coming out of the bath, it took 15-30mins to run (At least there's hot water. I only turned the hot tap on) A little far from everywhere so limited option on convenient transportation services. Tried to book a restaurant through the hotel. Since there are three in Bali, the guy at the front desk booked the one 20 mins drive away instead of the one down the road. When requested to book the closer one, he pretended to call and said it was full. We went to the restaurant anyway and when we got there, there restaurant was absolutely empty (in fact, we were the only table). I couldn't help but suspect that he was trying to get more taxi fare for his friend opposite the hotel. Apart from the above experience, most staffs are friendly and helpful.

The staff are very friendly, always greeting with a smile on their face, they also always try and serve us within their means. The free shuttle to Kuta and Jimbaran is also very convenient, only thing is we must book in advance if not the shuttle will be full. It is a relatively quiet place to relax and chill in Bali if you do not wish for the more exciting Bali life.

Wasted my money and time
Pro: most staffs are friendly and breakfast was pretty OK. Con: 1st day, there was a gas leak in the kitchen. I had to tell the staff to remove the gas tank. My villa is invested with ants (black and red). Also there is a black cat running around and digging holes at my villa garden. Aircon is not cold enough (blower is slow) No water heater and had to call maintenance to fix it. some Lights in my room and bathroom not working. Lizard poo in the bathtub when i arrived. Pool is dirty and they dont clean it daily. Kettle not working. Not enough chairs (only 3 chairs while there were 4 of us). I requested for additional chairs, the staff just pulled a sofa from the living room for me. No fan at dinning and living room. Which made it very hot. Rotten window woods in the bathroom. Not a private villa because staffs or other guest can just walk in directly to your villa. (i walked in to another person's villa unintentionally while i was exploring the place & compound) Also i can see directly into other people villa living room and dining room. No privacy at all. Overall it is a badly maintained villa which needs a major renovation and improvement. I was suppose to spend most of my time relaxing in the villa for 4 days but ended up only coming back to sleep at night.

Nice place to stay for large families with kids
It was just a stunning place to stay. A bit far from everything but in terms of Bali, but only 5 minutes drive to the beautiful beaches. It was simple to organise a large taxi for a family of 6 and not expensive at all for the whole day. The villas were clean and very nice and the pool were just great for the kids. The service was amazing, we traveled with my mum who's 70 and has issues walking, and there was no issue calling to get a pick up and drop off every time we had to go out or to the reception area. Just great service and beautiful staff. I think I will be going there again.

HAVE THOUGHT LONG AND HARD ABOUT THIS REVIEW
I spent 1 week at Pat Mase Villas recently. My initial impressions of the complex were ok however as the week went on things got progressively worse. Many maintenance issues in and around the vilas. Food great, had no complaints there, and ate at the cafe on a couple of evenings. Breakfast is a nightmare, there is not enough room at the cafe to accomodate all the guests that have "free" breakfast. Staff were excellent, were always wanting to accomodate you. The arranged driver to take us to the airport no showed, had to arrange alternative transport. So the lady in reception called the transport place directly opposite the front door of Pat Mase, {i could have walked across the road} the quoted price I had to the Airport was 70,000IDR, because she made the phone call it was now going to be 200,000IDR, now I am assuming the driver still gets about the same so the hotel picks up 67% of the transport fee for making a phone call, daylight robbery. This sealed it for me and I wont return here.

Great Family Holiday
We took our three kids, 8, 6 and 4 to Pat Mase Villas for four nights. We all had a fantastic time. Kids loved the pools and the food. We loved we could relax in the evening by our private pool while the kids slept. Staff were so friendly and made our stay very enjoyable.

We stayed in a villa with a private pool and were blown away - the room, the private pool and private garden - all were absolutely beautiful. Only downside is that is not a walkable distance to the beach but there is a good shuttle service.

We were 6 adults 3 kids booked 4 bedroom villa , checkin prompt, friendly staff the dissapointment part was no power outlet in the kitchen, no kettle for boiling so had to do it in sitting area , water switched off during night time had to get up at 3 in the morning to run to reception asking for the reason happenened twice in 2 days, gets difficult when travelling with kids, hotel close to nowhere so only option is taxi , overall experience was not that entertaining , breakfast average , dessert was yummy during dinner service

We only needed one night here as we had already booked a week in a resort. Four of us occupied two villas in a three villa complex. Felt very welcome at check in. Comfortable bed rooms with mosquito nets and en-suites. Private small pool was handy. Nice breakfast served to the villas. We were sorry that we did not stay there longer. Not sure of the location as we did not have time to explore the local area.

We loved the villas and the way they were set up, Service was excellent, breakfast was great. Great rates for the quality of the amenities. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Bali.

Lovely relaxing villa
We have really enjoyed our stay at Pay Mase villas, it is very quiet, relaxing and a lovey resort. We miss being able to walk to the beach, local cafes, restaurants etc. and believe Legian/Seminyak location suits our needs better.

a lovely retreat
We loved staying at Pat-Masse Villas. The accommodation was delightful as were all of the staff. Our room was delightful with a large bed in a central room, with a large adjoining bathroom. We had our own private pool and a large sun lounge/kitchen kind of outside. We had breakfast in the restaurant and that was more than adequate. My wife was unwell on arrival and the receptionist (nati) went out of her way to get us settled. The venue is a wee way away from the shops/beaches we had to use taxis a lot, and there is a temple over the road and one morning we had loud worship from about 6-8am. I would certainly reccommend as nice accommodation.

OK for families
We had a two-room-villa with our 3-year old kids. Rooms are really spacious: We had two separate villas, really large ones. In adition, we had a small private pool and a larger one to share with three other villas, plus an open dining area. To which breakfast was brought every morning at no extra cost. Generally, staff was very helpful and kind. As per the negatives, the noise from the street was really a bit too much, the hotel does not have beach access (you need to go by taxi, too far to walk), and the hotel is really a bit worn down. Everything is very clean though. We ended up spending out days at the InterContinental hotel (10 minute ride by taxi) which sell day passes for the equivalent of US$ 30 per adult (kids are free), and used their pool, beach etc. I would recommend for people who do not mind the way to the beach, and the condition of the hotel.
