“Will definitely return”

This hotel is typical Bali. The hotel staff are very friendly and more than ready to make you comfortable. They do speak English acceptably. The rooms are not Sheraton quality but they are quite nice and comfortable. Free wi-fi is available. The pool is nice and the landscaping around it and the rooms is very nice. It is located close to the beach as well as to several 4 star hotels. It is also close to KFC, Dunkin Donuts and McDonald's if you need a 'Western' touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel

“Cheap but good”

A fine lower priced hotel at Sanur. Well situated near restaurants, bars and convenience shops, all easy walking distance. The hotel is set in lovely gardens with small but adequate pool facilities. The superior room was big and comfy with aircon, and balcony overlooking pool. Light b'fast included. Fantastic 2 star value.

“Lovely and near the beach”

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was helpful and pleasant, the pool was lovely, and the rooms were charming. The breakfast was not great, but perfectly passable. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. Overall, this hotel was a good value for the money.

“Hard to beat on a budget”

Room for myself and two buddies, three of us total. Most booking sites required two rooms, but the Puri Dalem allowed for an 'extra bed' charge, and literally supplied three beds ( the third was a little smaller). That made the cost for the three of us the lowest of any site in Sanur or Kuta beach that I could find online. Very good upkeep of the premises, very peaceful and pleasing environment. Minutes walk to the beach, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise. I will most likely stay here again for the quality and price.

Overall, the Puri Dalem hotel was a pleasure to stay at. That said, on my return trip to Sanur I chose another hotel. A few of the things I liked about the hotel were: -There were lots of flowers / green plants around the grounds -Overall there was a serene feeling. -It had a pool. -It was very economical (by western standards). -Was within a 5 minute walk to one section of the beach. -There was a free shuttle to a great stretch of beach that left pretty much whenever you wanted (with a few minutes’ notice). -There was air conditioning and hot water that worked well. -The Internet connectivity was satisfactory for Indonesia. A few of the things I did not like about the hotel were: -The staff was quick to sell you tours given by their friends for tourist prices. -These tour guides hang out in the lobby and just in front of the hotel, so there is no avoiding them. -The breakfast was decent and had a good feeling (as there were locals there eating with us), though I got the feeling that the hotel was okay letting locals show up for free food, use of the pool, etc. -The TV was very old and did not get many channels clearly. -The bathroom was not well ventilated and smelled horrible. -Although inexpensive, other hotels in the area (which were not selling online) were almost half the price.

“A quiet place”

Located in sanur, this hotel is not for the Party traveler, but its a friendly quiet place, if your trying just to relax this is the place. The beach is on a walking distance.

“Good Bargain”

Although a touch of paint might have been needed here and there in our room, it was clean, secure and well made up everyday. The folks at the hotel's dinng area were attentive and knew us by first name! Very helpful. The free shuttle to the sister hotel on the beach was a nice surprise feature!Pool was refreshing and a welcome sight immediately outside of our bungalow! The small patio area for our room was also quite private due to the well manicured plants. We'd stay there again.

“PURI DALEM.. A touch of Style..”

Don't expect it to be totally what is advertised as it is not . The jetted baths ,Bidets and In room safe JUST DO NOT EXIST . BUT if you want Resort style Thatched/tiled Traditional Bungalows ,pools,gardens and friendly and helpful staff THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO ... WE WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN SOON .

“Not terrible”

We arrived late at night an the desk staff was a little bit brusque. The first room we were given was full of cockroaches in the last throes, but when we complained at the desk we were immediately moved to another room. The new room was cleaner (some of the tile looked a little grubby, but no bugs) and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great, and so was the pool. They do provide money changing services here, but be sure to count your rupiah twice.
