So glad we stayed here..a relaxing holiday!

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: The Puri Santrian has beautiful lush gardens and attractive Balinese decor. It has a really relaxing vibe.
Cons: I wish there had been day beds on our balconies. It was a great area to sit but the chairs were really uncomfortable.
Location: It has a good location on the beach... not that we swam there much. The pools in the resort are so much more inviting.
We had a lovely time staying at the Puri Santrian in Sanur. The room was comfortable and clean. We had fun soaking up the sun, swimming and reading around the Santrian Club pool area. We enjoyed beach side breakfasts each day and the staff were always polite and helpful. We had loads of restaurants and shopping opportunities when we wanted to venture outside the resort.

Disappointed.

Posted Jun 4, 2014
The photos on line looked much nicer, cleaner and more modern than the room we had. In actuality it was all a bit worn down. There was a rooster crowing at 4 in the afternoon and we request a room move. The property is quite large. Pools are nice and the beach is well maintained. I would. It stay here again as I think that it is over priced for the quality.

Lovely Hotel

Posted May 22, 2014
Pros: Mostly everything
Cons: Gym
Location: Great location. Everything near enough for a great holiday
2nd stay in Sanur in 7 months and we loved it yet again. The hotel was perfect in every way to suit our holiday as was the restuarants in the street and along the beach path. We are planning another trip in August and hope to visit the restuarants we missed out on on our previous trips and Puri Santrian will be our choice.

Best hotel in Sanur on the beach

Posted May 20, 2014
Cons: The rooms were not the best we stayed at in Indonesia. They were comfortable and clean with the exception of our shower drain being clogged.
The hotel grounds were by far the best in Sanur on the beach. They also have 2 swimming pools where one of them you can enjoy a drink at the bar while in the water. They have all the amenities you'd want while on vacation as well as a good selection of food decently priced. If you don't want to leave, then you don't have too because they have it all. The hotel is also walking distance to touristy shops and nice restaurants.

Lovely location, gardens, pools, beach

Posted May 11, 2014
Pros: Location, pools, beach.
Cons: The plumbing in the club rooms and could do with attention.
Our third stay at Puri Santrian. We stayed in the Santrian Club. An enchanting place and fabulous for the sea, beautiful pools and garden. Restaurant, breakfast, rooms and beds all excellent. What more can you ask for? Maybe we are jaded but a little more friendliness from some of the staff would be make for excellence.

Lovely hotel, more suited to mature age europeans

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Lovely hotel with everything you would expect for the price. Room was well equipped and comfortable. Pool and pool bar were lovely and service was above average. Food was ok. Had some dodgy fish on the first night but after that it improved. No local beer (no Bintang or Bali Hai) as aimed at Europeans with Heineken as standard at $5 (quite steep) Overall a pleasing experience but would not stay again as for older more mature couples.

Right on a beautiful white sandy beach

Posted Mar 15, 2014
Pros: Every thing , quiet spacious secluded . Beautiful beach & sea sheltered by a reef & a walkway that follows the beach . You can stay here all day long
Cons: Nothing . There is renovations in place so if this continues this will be a great resort for many years to come as the club rooms are a little aged
Location: Great location on east coast with sheltered waters . Only takes 20 min to busy Kuta or Nusa Dua Day trip to north of island to see lake Batur
We travelled with friends and absolutely loved the Puri Sanutram . We chose the club rooms that had Moore than enough room with own private balcony over looking 2 swimming pools that are for club room guests only , we found we could swim privately most of the time being secluded from rest of resort . The breakfast included is up with the best we have ever had in our travels with an endless choice . The beach side restaurant has great cheap meals $8 to $12 , we also ate at the Japanese restaurant at front of resort ( classed as best number 1 or 2 in Bali ) well priced beautiful meal , 3 course with bottle of wine for under $100 per couple . 5 swimming pools in total including a swim up bar were you will enjoy a cold bintang & also sae to swim in the sea with plenty of water sports right there . Overall resort is very safe monitored with security cameras and guards , very quite with no traffic noise only chirping birds in the paradise like setting , resort water is safe filtered & clean & complimentary bottles of water supplied to rooms . We only eat & drank from this resort so never recieved any upset stomachs .

Touch of old Bali

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Attention to detail. Staff very helpful. Food from Breakfast to Dinner was delicious with a wide variety. Lovely beach bar.
Cons: Perhaps a revamp of bathrooms to include free standing showers but really having been venturing to Bali since the 1970's if you want to know what Bali
Location: Next door to old Sanur Beach hotel and down from Hyatt. Shopping and other restaurants right outside the door. Taxis easy to catch.
Very good check in. Quick access to room. Upgrade to room with view of pool and beyond to sea. Beautiful gardens which are exceptionally well maintained. Two pools one with spa and another for lazing quietly. Beach very clean and kept so daily. Food at all restaurants very good. Take the Cooking School option. Well worth it. Puri Santrian is a touch of old Bali on Sanur. Watch the fisherman in the late afternoon and hire bikes to see what the competition is on either side up to the Hyatt and beyond the Sanur Beach Hotel. You come back knowing you are in the best place. This is my first visit to Bali since 1993 and despite the huge changes, Puri Santrian was an oasis in the hustle and bustle which now surrounds Sanur.
