Excellent - fantastic value for money

Amazingly romantic and meticulously set over a stunning backdrop of hanging rice paddies. Pool is nice too. Only drawback is the distance to Ubud centre - 45min.

Quiet & small resort at a perfect hill slope

Posted Feb 7, 2014
Pros: The view, food, quietness.
Cons: A fresh coat of paint and minor repairs
Location: Beautifully sited on top of the hill with cool weather and excellent view of the valley & Mt Agong. Sunrise view.
Couldn't asked for a better view, weather, food, facilities and service. Wonderful as expected.

Nice resort away from the hustle of Ubud

Posted Nov 6, 2013
Pros: Room, staff and facilities
Cons: Wireless.
Location: Elelephant Safari Park. 15 min Ubud 40 min
Very happy with our stay. The staff, the room, the food were exceptional. We opted for a romantic candlelight dinner ...wow !! Candles, a beautifully set table, poolside with flower pedals and decorations added to the delicious meal. The rice paddy trekking and water purification trip was great too. It is a bit isolated so you have to rely on the tours or hiring a driver to take you around. There is no wireless but they have a laptop to lend you with a sim card. Just a note. If you have difficulty with stairs, make the staff aware you need a villa up top of hill. It is the perfect place to rest, relax and be indulged. Thanks for a great stay.

A great stay!

Pros: The courtyard and pool
Cons: No additional toilet paper is left in room
Location: Great location, near to beach, shops and plenty of cafes and restaurants
We booked the hotel transfer from the airport on arrival which all went very smoothly, it was great not to worry about finding a taxi or if they knew where to take us. The hotel has a wonderful location, just 100m from the beach! It's also very well designed, with a good size pool in the central courtyard and the rooms alongside this. A very nice spot to relax and read a book on the sun loungers and dip in the pool when it gets a bit hot. The food in the restaurant was pleasing and certainly did the trick for the included breakfast. Our room was sizeable, clean and comfortable and overall we found the location of the resort to be great for walking distance to a variety of areas around Seminyak.

Very bad experience

Posted Apr 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
It's a very bad experience for our honeymoon trip. I have booked this hotel because I want to experience the view and its valley surrounding. Unfortunately, the resort informed me that they were going to move me to another resort under their same management which I feel totally different kind of resort. And I decided to not to stay with the resort as I feel like being cheated as I have made the booking a week in advance and paid in full. And they just informed me about this when I called to ask for direction to the resort the day before our stay. It's ridiculous that how can they accept the new booking when they should know it has been booked.
