IdyllicPosted May 4, 2014
Pros: Nothing to dislike, couldn't fault anything
Cons: Nothing to improve on!
Location: Short taxi ride to Nusa Dua, 5 mins walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants on same road, including 2 (Bumbu Bali) owned by the hotel. Both superb
Complimentary upgrade on arrival to 3 bed villa with pool. Best accommodation we have ever had anywhere in the world. Best breakfast we had in Bali, served in our room, most attentive staff, just wonderful

Everything you needPosted Apr 30, 2014
Can't speak highly enough of the staff here, our plane was delayed twice but the driver waited til 3am for us. The room was a cool marble haven, pool was clean and not overcrowded, massage was fantastic, room service prompt, polite and delicious. We had a great time at Rumah Bali.

3 nights in a balinese oasis in Tanjung BenoaPosted Mar 22, 2014
Pros: The overall experience was wonderful.
Cons: Nothing really. We had a wonderful stay.
A tranquil oasis set back from the busy main road. Friendly and always helpful staff. Lovely facilities and easy access to beach via the Peninsular hotel across the road. Had dinner at their restaurant Bumbu Bali which is a must do. This is not a five star hotel if that is what you are after. It is an authentic balinese village/resort experience which we loved.

Amazing hotel resort, you didn't want to leave!Posted Nov 4, 2013
This was truly an amazing resort. The rooms were enormous, with a nice patio and huge bathroom. The air conditioner could be as cold as you wanted it to be. The resort grounds are awesome, featuring true Balinese decor all around. The breakfast in the morning was huge and delicious; you could have as much as you like. This was our last stay for our honeymoon, and I wish we had stayed longer. The pool was warm all the time, you could just walk right in. We couldn't stay out of the massive pool and even though you're sharing the pool with others, we never had a single time where another person was in it. It basically is your own private pool. The location is good for the area, just 5 min from the beaches and 2 min from shopping and nice restaurants. It is truly the best hotel resort in nusa dua / tanjung benoa.

An "oasis" in the hustle and bustle of BaliPosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, location, fantastic breakfasts, quality of the food, pool, the lovely staff and a great bunch of guest.
Cons: Doesn't happen often, but I can't think of a thing to grissle about !
Looking down the long driveway from Jalan Pratama you wouldn't think it was possible that such a sanctuary could exist. Hidden away is an oasis amongst the commotion of Bali. The beach is down a short alleyway across the road and there is an abundance of large hotel waterfront bars for cocktails, happy hours and sandy strolls. Once you have finished you wander back to your little paradise, away from traffic noise, the gloss marble and elevators to the traditional setting of Rumah Bali. The air conditioned rooms are huge, bathrooms on the ground floor are partially open air but private which I loved. All bungalows have an outdoor seating area. Breakfasts, which are included are impressive with a choice of cooked, healthy which includes the fluffiest pancake ever and Balinese (mie goring and dumplings). The staff at Rumah Bali are always smiling and couldn't be more helpful. The place to stay if you are looking for a touch of the real Bali. Can't wait to go back.

Lovely place to chill out but out of the wayPosted Oct 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Rumah Bali is very comfortable and the food is great! Service is wonderful too. It's a great resort for chilling out by the poolside, with the lush greenery and peaceful surroundings. However, it takes over an hour to travel to Kuta/Ubud and other places of interest so it's not suitable for holidaymakers who wish to check out the rest of Bali. For water sports enthusiasts, it's close to the beach, but there isn't much shopping to be done on the street outside the resort.
