Spacious property beautifully maintained with separate secluded areas of tropical gardens, swimming pools and covered pavilions, all tradonal Balinese style. Accomodation beautifully maintained and staff friendly and very helpful. Beach, restaurants and shops 5 minutes walk away.

Excellent hotel with excellent service!
Where do I start? We requested a pick up from the airport and despite the delay the driver was there waiting for us with a smile!!! The reception in the hotel was very good and they explained the facilities, etc. Then we got to the room (wide and clean) on the 1st floor. With perfectly working air conditioning and a nice view to the interior of the hotel which is set like a little villae. Keep in mind this is NOT a 5 star hotel but.... it is clean, it is friendly and if I ever come back to Bali and this hotel I would book one of the private villas (just for fun). Nice pool to be used even at night. In the room you have a TV in English but I turned it on just to see if it worked :). Good wi-fi everywhere. In the reviews I read mentioning poor breakfast... I must say that the Balinese breakfast was excellent!!! My guess is that continental breakfast might not be the best but... That was never in our mind! When in Bali... have a Balinese breakfast! The cons... well... I am still rating 5 stars because the cons are what they are. You have a beach on walking distance and they can give you a ride to another beach in the area as the one close to the hotel is not "top notch". But it has many water sports available !!! which is a plus! Additional Plus: Many restaurants nearby. I would recommend Ballicious! but we also went to quite a few other.

Fantastic hotel in Balinese style
Fantastic hotel in typical Balinese style. The private villas with pool are stunning, Great breakfast! I recommend without hesitation. The beach nearby is not very good but the hotel offers free shuttle to the better beach of Nusa Dua. The only drawback is that you then need to take a taxi back to the hotel (a bit far), the shuttle doesn’t come to pick you up on your way back. Otherwise, plenty of restaurants and massage salons just outside the hotel.

Welcomed warmly, received a tall glass of cold iced tea with a delicious fresh platter of fruit. Room spacious and clean. Handy to beach almost over the road, all sorts of eats handy, local businesses, massage, tailors.. The breakfasts were incredible, tasty, huge and fresh, I missed them when we left! Staff are happy in their work, nothing was too much trouble, they are a fabulous team. I look forward to going back 😊

Tropical paradise
Loved it, read lots of great reviews and all true fabulous place. Peaceful, tranquil, wonderful staff, so friendly and eager to please. Food is fantastic, beautiful balanise setting. Lots of bars, restaurants, shops at your doorstep. Lovely older style traditional balanise units. Nice well kept gardens. Cooking class is a must do, just fabulous.

Exceptional service from all the staff. The hotel is a perfect location and tucked away from the busy road. Everything is clean and comfortable. The hotel transfer was smooth and we appreciated the service to the airport. The small touches of fruit in the room and welcoming drink was very special. Just amazing
We stayed in the Hibiscus Villa for 5 nights as a family of 4 and just loved it. Everything about this place is amazing. Far removed from the big resorts with masses of people, here you have the relaxed village life setting, an amazing central pool and a dining area area where we enjoyed the most amazing breakfast. We also dined at their restaurant up the road and loved the traditional dance performance and did the cooking school, also fantastic. The staff were just so lovely.

Spacious Balinese style Accommodation
We were pleasantly surprised at how spaciousness the ground floor villa was we stayed in. It had a separate kitchen, large bedroom, large outdoor bathroom and a separate dressing room off bathroom. The villas are situated in gardens around a lovely swimming pool at the back of the property so it is quite a walk to the beach which is across the road and down a long alleyway. The breakfast was tasty and very generous. There are many other eating and massage places close by. The owner of this comfortable hotel should be very proud of his manager Made and the staff. They went out of their way to see everything was comfortable and to our liking. We cannot speak highly enough of them. We would happily stay here again.

What a gem!
Lovely smaller hotel, walking distance to the beach. The staff are very attentive and the food is fabulous (authentic Balinese). The standard room is clean & spacious. Aircon effective. Bed firm but comfy. Breakfast is enormous! The hotel is tucked away behind the main street so it is very quiet. Don't be put off by the 'B&B' - this is not a 'guesthouse', it is a really a boutique resort. The key feature of this hotel is the marvellous old fashioned 'service with a smile'. We only stayed 2 nights but hope to come back for a longer stay. Loved it!

Love Love Love the place
Thanks for the favolous staff., they are always available but mot intrusive. The compound is huge, so it was a fair walk to my room located way at the back of rhe property. My room was super spacious. Enjoyed the chirping of the birds. Highly recommended for people who wants peace and quite. Nothing to complain about, except for the neighbor’s dog who barked non stop day and night.

My next visit will include (booking ahead) to attend your cooking school so I may replicate the wonderful dishes I sampled at Bumbu Bali. Fantastic Balinese Experience
Rumah Bali is a lovely quiet bed & breakfast! Lovely pool, with many birds and super gardens. Attached to the restaurants Bumbu Bali, the room service meals are superb, and the cooking school highly recommended. Beds are comfy, service personal.

Our fourth visit to Rumah Bali!
If you prefer a more boutique hotel over the mega resort experience, you wont be disappointed in Rumah Bali. Nice size rooms with fridges and some with kitchenettes. Comfortable beds. Great pool. Some rooms have outdoor bathrooms. Staff in Bali are always terrific, but Rumah staff still take service up a notch. Fabulous breakfasts (we prefer the Balinese option), and room service food is provided by Bumbu Bali (best restaurant in the area). Wifi is very good (20mbps). Thatch roofs on some units means you may be woken up by early by local wildlife....not a problem for us. The area immediately surrounding this B&B is not as interesting as what you might find in other areas of Bali...but many nearby options for dining and amenities, with reasonable prices. A short walk to beach with many restaurants and recreation options. Dont place too much weight on trip advisor ratings for nearby restaurants (come are grossly inflated) We preferred Bumbu Bali and the restaurant in the Reef hotel (on the water).

Great landscape and huge size room, very special!
This place is a hidden paradise in the middle of the busy Nusa Dua traffic. It is quite far away to main road which creates very quite and natural atmosphere. We love love love the landscape in the hotel. Garden was stunning and it was very much Balinese Style. Stuff was very helpful and lovely. We will recommend this place to our friends that is sure. Couldn't have been happier. Beautiful grounds. Had a room( like a unit it was that big) with huge granite bathroom and a balcony that overlooked the pool. We would definitely stay here again. Benoa is a nice relaxing area. Loved it

We loved staying at the Rumah Bali. It was so close to a day spa, the beach and a market. Food was amazing, but the staff were the highlight. Such lovely, hospitible people. We would go back for sure!

How lucky were we.
Of the many places I have stayed in Bali over the past 40 years, this is the best. Stay here and I guarantee you will thank me for it. Tanjung Benoa is not Seminyak and water sports aren't my cup of tea but Rumah Bali is completely isolated from all of this. Anyway, you won't want to leave the Rumah Bali. It has a magical Bali style and the grounds and pool are exquisitely maintained. The rooms are great, cleaned every day, fresh linen daily too. The staff are all beautiful people. There is a cooking school and the food is delicious. Breakfast was a wonderful start to some very excellent days. Not sure why it is only rated 3 star. It should be 5.

A Balinese experience
If you want to feel like your are in Bali then Rumah is the place for you. We stayed in a two bedroom villa with a private pool that followed a Bali theme. Away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and Seminyak but close enough by car (20mins) to visit if the mood grabs you. The villa and compound had great facilities, clean rooms, and friendly staff always willing to please. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the beach with water sports is a short walk.

Excellent value for money! Spacious rooms excellent traditional Balinese style resort, a little old but don't let that put you off, the rooms are excellent better than staying at a modern hotel, way more value for money. I ate at their restaurant BumBum Bali, both Hotel and Restaurant staff very friendly & pleasant. Thank you Rumah Bali

Beautiful resort with a wonderful staff
We loved our stay at the Rumah Bali. The resort was beautiful and the staff was exemplary. They were very concerned about our happiness and did everything they could to enhance our stay. When a driver we had arranged didn't work out, they found a replacement driver for us. One morning, I needed to take my daughter to a doctor for an injury to her foot. They drove us to the hospital. For the rest of the stay, they asked how she was doing. I really felt like they cared about us and our experience. The daily breakfast was the best we had during our entire 2 week stay in Bali. We could have it in our room or in the restaurant. We chose the restaurant because of the beautiful view and the staff. The room was very comfortable with an excellent air conditioner--a welcome break from the Bali heat and humidity. You should note that the bathroom is outside (shaded and protected from the elements, but still open air), thus no air conditioning. They do bring by incense nightly to help with the insects. You can contact them in advance and they will arrange transportation from the airport. I highly recommend this resort.

Staff (all of them) were very accommodating all throughout our stay - from tour/driver arrangements, food/breakfast requests and even suggestions on must-visit and must-eat places! Right outside the hotel is a convenience store. However, it was a long walk from the hotel lobby/restaurant to the room; good thing they allow in-room breakfast at no extra cost. A lot of mosquitoes but it was a good thing that the hotel provides coils nightly on the balcony. Would be nice if they do it for the bathrooms too (since the bathrooms are al fresco).

A Cozy Paradise
Its a cozy villa within the Nusa Dua/Tanjung Benoa area . Secluded from the hustle and bustle yet access to transport and eateries were good. The staff at Rumah Bali were great. Made us feel at home. A big Thanks especially to Madey for really facilitating things. Would definitely recommend this place!

Lovely stay. Very accomodating to all my needs. The breakfast each day was great. Can get a bit repetitive when staying for as long as I did (9 nights). The room was beautiful, Internet was good. Only issue was the mosquitos in the bathroom as an open bathroom, although could get rid of most with a coil, and the shower had very low pressure and pretty much no hot water unless you left it running for 10mins. But I would recommend this hotel for this area. It really was fantastic value for money.

Rumah Bali Bead and Breakfast
This small resort has beautiful grounds and pool. Our room was close to the pool but because there aren't a large number of guests, it was relaxing to sit on our veranda reading and chatting with fellow guests. The breakfast was served promptly at our requested time and was beautifully prepared and presented.There were numerous restaurants very close to Rumah Bali and we ate some great meals at several close resort restaurants.Overall we loved Rumah Bali but once you left it's grounds it was noisy and not what we envisioned from the numerous pictures one sees of Bali.

Greetings from the mystical Island of Bali, from which we hope you, have returned safely and with lots of great memories of a most enjoyable holiday. Once again thank you very much for staying in Rumah Bali our little Balinese Village. We very much hope that we were able to exceed your very high expectation. That the facilities were well maintained and our members of the team made you feel at home. Hotel had a beautiful garden, internet was slow. And watch out for mosquitos, ants and other insects, so many of them~~~~~

Traditional Balinese accommodation.
Rumah Bali offers traditional Balinese type rooms in a nice quiet location. If you are after a relaxing holiday in a nice area with great food, very friendly staff, nice gardens, great swimming pools and lots of local variety within walking distance then Rumah Bali is the place to be. The traditional breakfasts would have to be the best in Bali. We have stayed here over ten times and will be back again on our next visit as it is the best place to be for a relaxing holiday.

We did Heinz' cooking school in 2009 and have been wanting to stay here ever since. Not in the least disappointed by our selection. We will return.
