This hotel was really really good value for money i have stayed in many hotels in bali and payed double than what i did at the jayakarta and could not find any difference between them. pool was clean staff were really friendly and welcoming. The surrounding restruants were really nice and cheap. Would recommened this hotel to anyone of any age.

I took my mother and ten year old son to Bali. We all enjoyed the Jayakarta, the pool and gardens are lovely, staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were OK, basic but comfortable and clean. The best thing though is the location, right on the beach front. We will definately stay there again.

Had 9 days at the hotel. It was everything we expected. Great location and the rooms were clean, quiet and the staff helpful. would reccmmend as a good hotel for a relaxing stay. The restuarant was just Ok but the restaurants close along the beach and streets were great.

the rooms are a bit small & the bathrooms need a fix up but the hotel was very frendly breakfast was awsome. great location on beach & perfect for families with kids lots for them to do .yes would go there again

“Decent place”

the condo was a value for money place. The hotel is in a good location, just off the kuta beach and has good facilities. Service was good, people were friendly. The prices are abviously a bit higher than the off the street prices, so you might save some pennies by eating out and using services out of the hotel but the hotel itself was pretty economical. Has a good breakfast buffet, good swiming pool (we can directly walk from the pool to the beach!), the rooms were comfortable but not special.

“Hotel Jayakarta - Not terribly impressed despite good reviews from other travel advisor sites”

The GOOD: After we checked in, we found 3 exactly similar beds as we requested. There were also extra pillow in each bed. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices. The BAD: The bathroom floor was dirty, full of rusty yellowish stain. Rusty colored water came out of faucet and shower, shower curtain was spotty at best. We then asked to be moved to another room but no room was available until the following afternoon. After a day tour, we returned to the hotel in the evening and promptly checked in to another room. We found the 3rd extra bed was not even in yet. We had to wait for 1/2 hours for an old spring frame with tired mattress sofa bed and there was no extra pillow in each bed unlike in the original room. Then there were ants around the door to the balcony area where we had to pour water to wash them away. Although breakfast was plenty and great, there were bees all over the sweet pastries. We were told it was normal for bees to stick around and the staff showed no effort to remove them. We were not sure this lack of cleanliness and poor maintenance was due to the fact that the hotel was fully booked (with Australian tourists) which overwhelmed the staff.

looks nice from outside the rooms are just really run down. leaks in ceiling when raining. TV had stuff all channels in english.
