“A very beautiful hotel!”
This is a very beautiful garden hotel. I think I will go back next year!
“The best”
Great experience, the facilities are in perfect condition and nicely decorated with Balinese style. The stuff is incredible polite and professional in their jobs, always showing a true smile, speaks perfectly english almost all of them. Great location in Nusa Dua.
“Laguna, Nusa Dua 2010”
Spent a great week at Laguna, Nusa Dua, Bali in Dec 2010. Great property, ambience in a very good location. Extremely courteous staff, good room service and good food. Really good and pleasing experience. It has walk in access to lagoons from the rooms and the property is rigjt on the beach. Beach front dining is fabulous too. Highly recommend this hotel.
“Just the beach, Ma'am!”
Nusa Dua is intentionally a beach haven isolated from Bali and its culture. The Laguna Resort is a beautiful beach resort, but seeing the beauty of Bali and experiencing the people and culture means travel. If you want to "veg out," this may be the place for you. It has swimming pool space galore, nice beach (but trashy water), fairly good restaurants, and great service.
“Awesome”
The Hotel is in a lovely, quiet area for people that really want a break. The busy shopping and dining areas of Kuta and Seminyak are 15 - 30 minutes away by car, but taxis are inexpensive and not difficult to find. Loved the hotel surroundings, and the food in-hotel and in the neighbourhood, although it is expectedly not very cheap. The walks along the coast are lovely, you cross from one hotel to the next, but all very nice.
“Nothing Special”
We stayed at Ayana for the first half of our trip and Laguna for the second. Wished we would have stayed at Ayana the whole time. This hotel is dirty, damp, small, and the food is bad. With so many nicer hotels nearby, I wouldn't reccommend this to anyone. The Westin next door is great if you must be in Nusu Dua, but the Ayana is so wonderful if I had to do it over again I'd stay there the whole time. The cheapest room at Ayana was much nicer than the Deluxe Lagoon Access Suite (which was nothing special, the lagoon was filthy and the room always damp). So bascially, if you go to Bali, don't stay here.
“Nusa Dua is the best place to stay at BALI”
Nusa dua is about IDR 80000 from the airport. The hotel provided us with a very courteous pik up in MUV Innova. All the hotels are on the same beach front and one can stroll across on the footpath and use any of the restaurants, its fantastic. The Bali collection shopping & dining centre is within walking distance along well laid out neat gardens. Hotel dining is pricey with lesser variety as compared to Bali collection. Provision stores also nearby to pik up daily needs. One can relax at the beach front and strike bargains for hiring a boat to turtle island ( IDR 300000 ). There is plenty to do with scuba diving, water sports, para sailing, etc.Weather was warm but it got OK in the eve. laguna catered for every need and we would love to go back if we get a promotional offer like this time !!
“Better deals possible in Bali”
Expectation was good based on the reviews I read of this hotel but the when entering the hotel the rooms where a outdated. The bed is good but shower getting older and everything looks just that it start needing renovation. The scenery is beautiful but unfortunately when sitting on the beach for dinner life music started with a sound system which was very irritating and bad in quality. This ruined the whole beautiful outdoor diner experience. The hotel is ok but not great and the day after we moved to another hotel 10 minutes further which gives much more class for the same price the Ayana resort which was the Ritz Carlton hotel before.
“will definitely go back”
We were on a honeymoon and this hotel was fantastic for us. Our favorite part was the hospitality and the attitude of the hotel staff. We will definitely stay at Laguna the next time we visit Bali.
“Would definitely stay at Laguna again”
The Laguna Resort was an excellent choice. We took advantage of an Expedia special rate so we got great value for the money. The beach was great for swimming and not crowded. During low tides (every 12 hours) there were numerous pools on the hotel premises to choose from. The entire place was very nicely designed, clean, well maintained ......just very pretty. The lagoon pools are just amazing. The rooms are quite spacious. Service was impeccable, room even includes 24 hour butler service. Can't think of a single thing to complain about.
