“Oberoi in April”

My stay at the Oberoi was for 9 nights in April. From the moment that I arrived until I got into my ride back to the airport I reveived top notch service from everyone working at this resort. I seen families with children, seniors and newly weds at the resort and there appears to be something for everyone there. I had such a great time at the Oberoi and Bali in general I'm return over the next couple of months and am already booked for the Oberoi.

“We have never had such good service anywhere befor”

This was an extremely good quality hotel and excellent value for money. Location was superb and ambience was perfect. We had a feeling of safety as the hotel had a very good security presence.

It is an all-encompassing resort; you wouldn't need to go anywhere else to see the beach. Very nice pool area; The private beach is very nice; Good selection of food; The room is spacious, clean, well maintained and decorated very nicely. Bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is very nice and clean.

From arrival (greeted by 4 people with garlands etc to departure - fantastic service: - booking tables at restaurants - opening and shutting your umbrella by the pool - continuous flow of cold drinking water, cool towels and suncream when relaxing by the pool Huge, sprawling grounds, requiring a map to get around

“Finding paradise in Bali.”

The Oberoi is on the beach, two restaurants grace the beautifully maintained grounds, butlers take care of you on the beach, guests are pampered and made to feel like royalty. All staff are friendly and accommodating, no tipping is requested during the stay. Restaurant food was excellent yet expensive. Resort is walking distance to outstanding restaurants such as The Junction and a short taxi ride to Cafe Bali which is next to a terrific Moroccan restaurant and across from the Lotus Thai restaurant, all serving great food at half the cost of resort prices. The resort spa offers services with American prices and standards, however a 5 minute walk toward the town of Seminyak will reveal a salon that will provide 30 minute massages for $3, manicures and pedicures each cost $3 and the girls are so polite and eager to please the customer. Free resort shuttle buses to Legion village and a taxi ride to Kuta Square at night are worthwhile trips. In 10 days we took 3 tours and saw plenty, dances are brought to the resort and I would skip seeing the same dance twice, not fast paced yet gorgeous costumes and music are fascinating. We took a shuttle once and a taxi to Kuta square 2 nights and relaxed at the resort for the majority of our stay which was perfect.

“Absolute tranquility right in the heart of Seminyak”

You leave all the hustle and bustle of Bali behind the minute you walk through the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to take a very relaxing break. The location is fantastic, restaurants and shops are all in walkable distance, the beach is right on your doorstep, the staff are outstanding, the grounds are beautiful. Highly recommended.

The Oberoi is an Experience in itself... the quality of service, the attention to detail, the friendliness of the staff.. The location, the views, the beach.... I recommend it to any one who wants to get away from it all and still be pampered like in no other place. If planning a romantic escapade or renewing a life time commitment. This is the place to do it. From the favulous rooms to the incredible bathrooms... WAO! You will fall in love all over again!!

“Great hotel!”

The Oberoi may appear a little more expensive than other hotels, but if you are looking for understated luxury then this is where you should head! We could not fault the hotel and staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything is thought of - from the poolside snacks, afternoon tea, shuttle to town, anything. Location is great with so many great restaurants and shopping within walking distance - you will be spoilt for choice. I'll definitely be back!

“Ultimate Luxury”

I would highly recommend this hotel as a place for complete relaxation and a stress free holiday. The facilities are excellent and the staff are extremely attentive, friendly and couldn't do more to help. This doesn't necessarily come cheaply but it is good value for money
