“Great value, and good position”

Hotel was great, we stayed in the 4 bedroom villas, amazing pool, very large living room, and good service. The room service is very limited though.

“2nd Honeymoon Destination!”

Fantastic location and premises. When we arrived friendly staff carried everything to our suite of rooms, arranged for immediate repair of the non working fridge and extra pillows and gave us a map to get around the location. ALL staff fantastic - security guard lent me 10,000rp to pay for a cab (I didnt have any small change) without me having to even ask! They would order cabs, make reservations for dinner, organise manicures in our suite (yes suite..one bedroom with separate lounge/dining/fully equipped kitchen - did I say fantastic!) If you do stay there I highly recommend the in-house massage (Suarti is the girl to get) or manicure. The staff come from eSPAce in Seminyak and it is a great local clean innovative spa centre. Recommend for families, singles, couples who want a quieter location and more specialised service than is offered by bigger hotels (I LOVE the Padma but its so big and busy so do dont feel refreshed after your stay...although I love the breakfast there :-)) Huge rooms, big king size beds, large open bathrooms all tastefully decorated and your own garden and pool area - again FANTASTIC!!

“Would go again tomorrow if I could”

A wonderful location to spend a little time with friends in a very quiet location very close to the shops and eating area of Seminyak. Rooms extremely large and private pool was great. Staff who came and made breakfast each morning were friendly and efficient. Overall a wonderful experience at very reasonable rates. Would be first choice on returning to Bali.

“10 out of 10 for the "Residence" villa #8”

We as a family of 5 stayed in this villa and would highly recommend it to others. High walls for privacy, safe(for money etc) in each room, air conditioned, fully functioned kitchen, tv dvd player, your own pool. each room has its own bathroom toilet facilities with both a shower and bath. Close distance to all seminyak eateries. A german outdoor bar right across the road with a tv over bar. The area isn't as crammed as kuta or legian with some rice fields down the road with cows grazing, walking distance to beaches.

“We'll never stay anywhere else again!”

Many of us naturally look for negatives when describing our travel experiences, but with The Residence, we genuinely couldn't find any. Except maybe that the toaster was too slow! Seriously, this place exceeded our expectations on all fronts - great location, amazing villas and staff that couldn't do enough to please. If you're looking for a place that's close to the action yet quiet, that captures everything that is Bali, and you don't mind waiting that little bit longer for your toast (which doesn't really matter as The Residence staff make your breakfast for you in your villa), then we highly recommend this place. And we'll never stay anywhere else in Bali again!

“Centrally located Seminyak Modern Villa with great, friendly, understated service.”

I have not completed many hotel reviews in my lifetime. I believe that had I completed a review for each and every one of my hotel stays (which there are many), I'd be chastised by my overseas family for not spending that time speaking to them on the phone! However, the Residence Seminyak was certainly a property to comment on as I don't believe that the current content available online accurately reflects the product that it is - a great villa with a fantastic central Seminyak location off a quiet alley that is also has affordable and fair prices. This is certainly a Villa property to consider if you are traveling to Bali for a short or long term stay. Since the Residence Villas are so large, the website photos can not capture the true size and comfort of Residence Villas. The rooms are large, fantastic quiet air-conditioning, very private outlook, and full day of sun over the pool areas (and shaded on the deck if you need a respite from the intense Bali sun). “Amazing Villa, Excellent friendly service”

Loved everything about this villa. Reception staff were so friendly, spoke perfect English and they learnt our names after 1 day. Cooks that came to make us breakfast were lovely. We loved the private pool and the bathrooms were like something from a magazine! The icing on the cake was that they upgraded us to the designer villa for final 2 nights and for the inconvenience we received free manicures! Totally unexpected but welcomed by our group of girls. We would not hesitate to come back again. Location was also fantastic, only a couple minutes walk to main street with heaps of great restaurants and day spas. I highly recommend The Residence Seminyak for your next holiday.

“Individually owned villas, with maintenance issues and sparse fitting out of kitchen but very nice”

As reported above we had some issues on check in. Once these were resolved we largely enjoyed our stay at these villas. The bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge room and pool were great. Quite a few things were broken (kettle, fridge, front lock to villa and leaking roof), but all were rectified to some extent after we reported the problem. The kitchen was large but very sparsely equipped (one frying pan, one saucepan, four plates, four bowls, three small coffee cups, four knives/forks/spoons, no tea towel etc). The key we were provided with couldn't lock the bedrooms (which opened to the pool area of the villa complex), so security when sleeping at night and when we went out during the day was an issue. We were eventually given keys to lock these rooms. The pool was lovely and the massages were great!

Perfect location, stunningly Beautiful villa with every piece of furniture & art pieces truly comfortable & Gorgeous Staff were the very best I have experienced in Bali & we received Free upgrade to 4 bedroom The in-room cooked breakfast were cooked to order perfectly I highly recommend "The Residence" to anyone who wants to be close to Eat Street & the beach (5mins walk)& glamour restaurants like La Luciola(Brunch), PotatoeHead(Best Ever) , "W" & Bodyworks day spa
