Perfect hotel, staff, food, setting.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Typical for Asia, poor neighbourhood but still better than other countries. Long drive to any local attraction. But very close to the Airport.
Will go back for sure. It is hard to find hotel that pays this much attention to details.

Exclusive accommodation, service and dining

The 3 of us stayed in the St Regis Suite with two double beds. The room was large, extremely well-equipped and in perfect condition. The day-to-day amenities (shampoo etc) were high quality and the butler and room service immaculate, attentive and detailed and spoke excellent English. This communication skill/training and service levels put it well above the other hotels we stayed in - Conrad and Marriott. What stood out was: - Internal clinic staffed with a fluent English speaker. We had food poisoning after eating at New Moon at Jambaran Beach. We called the butler, told them of our symptoms and medicine arrived within 10 minutes. - Breakfast. Most ridiculous, over the top and amazing breakfast we've ever had. It included a comprehensive buffet and free flow of dishes made by order. The dishes include foie gras toast, lobster bisque omelette and wagyu steak with omelette. Seriously, who has this stuff for breakfast? - Concierge. We told them what we wanted to do and it was booked in 10 minutes. Communication issues solved. Forgot to plan? Solved. Too lazy? Solved. Amazing and will go again. Will impress the girlfriend/boyfriend, wife/husband, friend or mistress(es) whatever the case may be. Good day.

Perfect stay for top notch chilling

No regrets about choosing a brand hotel vs a villa. My first trip to Bali as an adult and I was bowled over by st Regis' staff hospitality and the classy timeless facade. As a contrast, W resort has the hip factor and is the place to see and be seen, but give me st Regis anytime to kick back in exclusive privacy and pampering

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Price of wine is very high, but this is common in all of Indonesia
Location: Turtle Island is a little touristy, but surprisingly fun and a great morning's outing if you have a young family.
Spent a wonderful eleven nights at the Bali St Regis in April of this year. It is, quite frankly, flawless. The moment we got off the plane we were greeted by St Regis associated "VIP greeting" staff who whisked us through passport control and baggage claim. Two cars awaited us (one for our party of six, two adults and four young children) and another for our luggage so we were not crowded. Inside we were given chilled water and face-cloths. Our driver(s) were genuinely friendly and very polite. Upon arrival at the hotel, through the breathtaking driveway and entry, we were offered chilled drinks while they quickly processed our check-in. We booked two connecting rooms (St Regis Suites) for our large family and were very impressed with the welcoming note and (daily refreshed) plates of fruit. The beds were enormous and very comfortable. One King bed for mum and dad, and next door two king singles (double beds really), a third full sized rollaway and (after a quick call to reception) a sturdy and safe cot for our youngest child. Service was sublime. Our 24 hour butler (not kidding!) unpacked and folded all our luggage so that upon returning to our enormous rooms (massive ensuite, free standing bath, separate toilet, huge shower, and seperate walk-in wardrobe!). This is an expensive resort, but you get what you pay for. In over twenty years of travel it was the most enjoyable, most luxurious experience I've had. We're already planning our return!

Simply wonderful

This was our second stay at the St Regis Bali. We found it last spring on our visit to the island. Our hotel experiences in southeast Asia had been somewhat hit-n-miss, so we were very glad to have chosen the St Regis the first time. We loved just about every aspect of this hotel. It's smaller than other western-branded hotels and feels more exclusive. The staffs here were very professional and courteous and the butler service was outstanding. We really enjoyed the high-quality on-premise food, especially the breakfast buffet, and relaxation at the pool, lagoon and beach. Even during Nyepi, the day of silence in Bali during which everything closed down, the hotel made it very comfortable for us. No wonder our kids already called St Regis "our home".

The most relaxing bali vacation we've ever had..

Posted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: Everything... from the room, hotel, the friendly service and staff, the beach and the food.
Location: Restaurants and traditional massage parlours.
Went on a relaxing vacation with my best friend and had the best time. The hotel is situated in lush, quiet location with big beautiful grounds and a clean private beach. The room was comfortable, resort-like and even came with all the necessities that you need for a beach vacation - complimentary beach straw hats & bag which I thought was a nice touch. The food was just amazing and we can't stop raving about about it till now. Breakfasts were filled with delicious local and international spread that we were spoiled for choice. Dinner at KayuPuti was just exquisite and breath-taking. This restaurant is a MUST go for everyone staying there. Everything was taken care of by their friendly staff and all you have to do is enjoy your time.

Oasis but not for young family

Amazing property with phenomenal service. Positives All rooms in main building are suites w/walk in closets & seperate sitting area. Large bathrooms with deep tubs & view Quick to clean rooms daily and turn down Free bottled water Butler service included in all rooms & villas but although friendly not proactive in checking in Free transfer to & from airport Breakfast was included in our pkg & had a huge selection but don't expect your typical North American food, they cater to their large Asian & Australian market but there is plenty of variety to select from just be open & they have an a la carte menu to order a main dish from alon with buffet at no cost, lobster omelette is one choice. Long beach with no resort to left or right so feels private and water was gentle Daily free fire dance show at 6:30 Peaceful and quite. Hotel is not meant for small kids, could be boring for them as it isn't built to be an entertainment facility for them, although they do their best to assist with a kids club the pools are not set up for them and the decline to beach could be a bother for parents when watching them Well staffed so common areas always clean and attended to On site tour company to assist booking private tours Negatives A short 15 -20 minute ride to main strip, it's close but you can't walk but cabs are inexpensive. Hotel car is $15 for a drop off. Butler service is a plus but they are not very proactive and follow up was dodgy. We found food prices to be less expensive than other ST. Regis but in comparison to the island prices some would say paying $75 for a buffet dinner is expensive- we found it reasonable given the quality & service. Spa is ok. Attentive and massages were good but I expected more facilities, plus you feel rushed to leave once your treatment is done.
