“Nusa Dua's top hotel”

You just cannot go wrong with this hotel. Worth every cent we paid. The rooms may seem a little dated but they are performing an extensive upgrade to the rooms. The grounds, facilities and beach are immaculate and the Food is fantastic! What more would you want?

“Westin is good for a Nusa Dua 4-star experience, if that's what you want”

The Westin is in a line of big resort hotels along a strip of Nusa Dua beach. It's unlike a beach bungalow in Semanyuk or an arty pastoral boutique hotel in Ubud. It does have a well groomed beach path passing the other resorts, ending at the Bali Collection Mall, ten minutes walk south. If you plan lots of golf or tennis, have small children, don't mind missing the cool early morning pastoral paths of Ubud, or don't want easy access to the tourist bar zone bustle of Kuta, then one of the big Nusa Dua hotels may be for you. A $10 taxi ride takes you to Kuta for the "Bali bar" experience. Good surf is a also $10 ride a half hour south and parasailing etc a half hour north. The oldest of the big resorts, the Nusa Dua Hotel, is just north of the Westin and, when it is under half the cost, it is probably a better value. The Westin has more luxurious bedding and a much better buffet breakfast. The Laguna and Melia along the same strip are also OK, with the Westin winning on rooms, but marginally. If you are attending the Convention Center, it can be reached from the interior of the Westin, sometimes a major convenience. The menu at the Westin is expensive and just OK, aside from the very nice buffet breakfast. During our stay, the regular breakfast room closed for renovation. The beach cafe was a far superior location; definitely making it a 5-star breakfast. In the evening, we wandered the strip for dinner. There is more variety at lower cost at the Bali Collection Mall.

“Westin Nusa Dua”

Great, secure location in the heart of Nusa Dua. The service staff are very friendly and the beach is clean. The food is expensive at the hotel, but there are great restaurants just a 3 minute walk away. We would definitely go back. The activities each day help you meet people from around the world. Running in the morning along the beach is priceless and spectacular!

“Family Suite -- Excellent layout, modern and clean!!!”

I travelled with my husband and 2 young kids to Bali in late April. We stayed in Intercontinental Hotel (Jimbaran Bay) for the first 3 nights and another 3 nights at Westin. I paid 50% more to stay in a suite at Intercontinental but our stay at Westin was much more enjoyable. The kids club at Westin has swing, trampoline, table games, slide and climbing net etc. The staff members are all very friendly and caring. Many different guided activities were also offered and my kids enjoyed their time there. The family suite is spacious. It is 2 connecting rooms with shared living area-- excellent layout and modern decoration. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained and the service is impeccable. It is also very convenient, with a small shopping mall "Bali Collection" nearby (5 mins ride) and you can dine in many different restaurants and buy souvenirs etc. When I stayed at Westin, I understood that there was some construction work ongoing as part of the hotel was closed. The work however did not affect our stay at all.

“Excellent resort with true 5 star servce”

Highly recommended if your aim is to relax and spend time at a true 5 star resort by the ocean. Flawless, welcoming service and well maintained surroundings with lots to do make this a great place to stay at Bali. The only downside is that the staff at the restaurants tend to dither a bit from time to time but in the grand scheme of things, this was a minor downside. The resort is very well suited for families with young children. On the whole, would definitely consider this on our next trip to Bali

The food was great and the hotel service is impeccable. Rooms are very comfortable but small sleeping area. Bathroom is very spacious with a walk in Shower and Tub and the lighting is superb throughout the room.

“Nusa Dua is the place to be”

The Westin Resort in Nusa Dua is a great resort for anyone looking to visit Bali. The resort is impressive in its own right, and has plenty of amenities to fulfill the needs of young and old alike. If you are planning a trip to Bali, and are confused about where to stay, this hotel is perfect. Here are a few of the highlights of this hotel, and Bali in general: 1. Nusa Dua is much more picturesque than other areas of Bali, and the hotel provides a lush background of greenery coupled with a beautiful beach and plenty of swimming pools 2. The breakfast buffet at the resort is nice - and reasonably priced (USD 25 per person) 3. The Weston has a very kids friendly atmosphere, with children's sofas in the lobby, a kids club in the resort, and a kids pool - children between the age of 1 and 12 will have a great time 4. Nusa Dua is NOT far from other areas of Bali - and drivers are extremely cheap. A personal driver for 10-hours will cost you approximately USD 40 - who is at your disposal for the entire day. Its better to draw out a plan for the day beforehand, but if you're unable to, the guide can provide you with his own version of a Bali tour. Pick up some of the brochures from the airport when you land and give them a call when you reach the hotel - they are cheaper than the drivers suggested by the resort. The waterslide on the resort is a bit mad. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially not young children.
