really nice small hotelPosted Mar 5, 2014
The hotel is close enough to all the shops and restaurants and beach but not too close. A 5 minute taxi ride gets you to the beach. The hotel itself is quiet and the staff are extremely helpful - I asked how much I should be paying for something from the markets, not the tourist prices, and the information was given no problem. The food was varied and fresh. The hot breakfast dishes were different each day. I only ate dinner in the hotel one night but was delicious and inexpensive. The pool wasn't cold and fresh water - no stinging eyes. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. The balcony was deep enough for me to lie on the couch which was out there no problem. The only thing I can fault the room on (and it is a tiny thing really) is that the shower head was set too low on the wall. I couldn't stand under it to wash my hair. I had to hold the shower head over me to do that.

A Hidden GemPosted Feb 20, 2014
A short distance from everywhere yet an oasis upon arrival. Staff were brilliant - Reception , Housekeeping and Security. Room was spacious and large bed was comfortable. You do require transport to beaches, markets etc it's a little more than a stroll there and back. Pool was brilliant - clean and crisp. Breakfast was well presented. Perfect break from the bustle of the surrounding area.

Comfortable and Spacious SuitePosted Jan 21, 2014
Pros: Swimming Pool, Bathtub, room
Cons: Shower head and the shower cubicle door, change to a firm mattress.
Location: Location is quiet by a small river. short walk to the main road and towards a stretch of local restaurants and shops.
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Diana especially liked the clean room and swimming pool. Although the bed was not as firm as I prefer and the toilet is a bit dated. Otherwise it was a good and comfortable stay. easy to reach the shopping area and beach with a short taxi ride. it is possible to walk if only the weather is not too hot.

Pros: The complimentary glass of juice upon arrival, lots of cable channels, omelet station
Cons: Be Honest and Upfront about what you offer. Be a little more customer service oriented
Location: (Long) walk to local shopping
Because I had just come from a different place which exceeded my expectation &booked thru Expedia, this place was a big let-down! I requested specific accommodations & like the previous hotel in Bali this place advertised that they provided them all. My preferences were a Free local shuttle, Free airport shuttle, Free breakfast, wi-fi, double bed and close access to local happenings. Well, they did have all ...barely or with a twist. 1st, the local shuttle was only allowed to drop me to only one beach and I had to request a day in advance. Unlike the previous place, which dropped me AND picked me up Anywhere within a reasonable distance (if extra far, there'd only be a small fee) This hotel charged for any other destination or recommended that I call, a random taxi. When I arrived I was put in an upstairs room with a broken air conditioner. I requested to move downstairs for easy access, but the rooms had only 1 bed. Upstairs both beds were sunk in terribly. Then. one staffer said the free airport shuttle was for person with a 3 night minimum another said, 5 night minimum (I was only staying 2 nights). The buffet breakfast had flies on it and wasn't good (The other hotel delivered yummy "made-fresh-to-order breakfast", to my room upon request & no charge) Next, this hotel was off the beaten path, near what seemed like a waste dumping site. Garbage lined the street entering the hotel. Finally, the "free call" they dialed for me, they attempted to charge me $10 afterward. :(

Not a bad hotel but to far from shops and thingsPosted Oct 25, 2013
Pros: The staff and the peace and quiet.
Cons: The kitchen and the food, it needs a propper kitchen with a better menu and a good chef.
Location: The location is next to the most disgusting river not a good look for the hotel and not many things to see or do near by.
The hotel was pleasant and the staff were very nice the only faults i could find was the kitchen and food was terrible it defenately needs upgrading in those areas and it was just a little to far to walk to go shopping or to eat apart from that it was very comfortable and quiet.

Small friendly hotelPosted Oct 20, 2013
Good position. Nice and quiet and small. Lovely pool area and gardens. The rooms were a decent size with a good balcony and day bed. Unfortunately the mattresses were lumpy old and squeaky and the shower leaked. Staff were friendly and helpful

Great staff & hotel.Posted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: Staff were very friendly & accommodating!
Cons: Nothing we could note in the night that we stayed!
Location: Legian. Free airport shuttle. Easy pick up for our shuttle to the fast boats in Sanur.
We stayed here the first night we got to Bali before we headed out to the Gili Islands. Our flight had been changed & hotel staff were flexible with us changing our pick up time. Even when our flight arrived later than expected, our lovely driver was still there waiting for us for an hour & a half! This was greatly appreciated after 24 hours travelling! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Lovely Villa for couples.
