“The best relaxing holiday”

We had a wonderful 6 nights, the setting is so tranquil very private you can't help but completely relax. The staff are so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Even though it is slightly off the 'beaten track' this makes it even more appealing but this is no trouble as they take you into Sanur for free (10 mintues away) and again free to the beach and back, otherwise plenty of taxis and so cheap. The Spa was great to have there. We will definately go back, felt like we had a really expensive holiday but didn't have to pay the price.

Very pleasant and peaceful hotel -- lush gardens -- nothing too much trouble for the staff -- mosquito protection provided in the room -- excellant standards of cleanliness both in the room and the pool/ garden area -- free air conditioned shuttle car to anywhere within 10 kms -- thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!

STAFF WHERE FRIENDLY AND VERY CARING. FOOD WAS VERY GOOD AND GENEROUS SERVES. COMPLIMENTRY AFTERNOON TEA WAS LOVERLY. SHUTTLE TO THE SHOPPING CENTER WAS AVAILABLE ON REQEST AND PICKUP WITH A PHONECALL TO RETURN. TOWLS WHERE REPLACED TWICE DAILY IF NEEDED. A LOVERLY HOLIDAY VERY PEACEFULL.

“Exceed our expectations in every way, small & intermate, great location”

We have been to Bali many time and never have we enjoyed our accommodation more.Friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble.Our villa was private and romantic. Enjoyed many beautiful evenings dining by our private pool, or being taken by the resort shuttle to dine on Sanur Beach. We loved our 2 week stay and will definitly be returning.

“Our special hide-away.”

While quite out-of-the-way, this was a wonderful place to relax and chill-out. When we did venture out, there was always a car ready to take us into Sanur. Staff were lovely. Afternoon teas were delightful. Would certainly stay again.

“AWESOME!”

I spent three nights there, including Christmas Eve. The staff is incredibly humble, helpful and honest. The food is delicious and the peace that the place inspire is absolutely stunning. I would really really really spend another longer stay there.

“Best for couples”

The accomadations were beyond what I expected. As a single traveler, it was more than I required. It did not have either computer connections, nor TV. However, this resort would be ideal for a couple on holiday who wanted to really get away from it all and also be pampered at a high level.

The Waka Maya is a comfortable and friendly place to stay, a liitle bit away from the beach. I recommend it.

it is a nice cosy place, very balinese, quiet, relaxing and good place to recover from the traffic in Bali.

Very nice relaxed environment. Ideal for the lazy traveler who just want to relax in privacy. Is about 3km for Sanur town centre, so if you do not mind walking it is good, otherwise, get some wheels. :-)
