Balinghem is near many of Pas-de-Calais’s well-known sights. The Les Six Bourgeois and the Calais Hotel de Ville are amongst the many interesting place to visit here. If you have time, don’t miss the Musee des Beaux-Arts et de la Dentelle and the Eglise Notre Dame.
If the weather is good, follow the lead of the locals who know the area best and head outside to the nearby green spaces. Stare out over the water and go for a long walk at one of the area’s beaches, for example Calais Beach in Calais. The natural preserves such as Cap Blanc-Nez in Sangatte, give visitors an insight into the species of flora and fauna that exist in the area.
Take a break from the tourist trail and play a game of golf at the Bois de Ruminghem Golf Club in Ruminghem.
