“Convenient location.”
Centrally located with easy access by car and a garage. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. An ok hotel in its category with a nice breakfast buffet.
“Not worth the trip”
There aren't many hotels to choose from in Flensburg, but we chose this because it was supposed to have wireless internet and on site parking. When we arrived, we asked about parking and the clerk told us to stay parked two blocks away, rather than inviting us to use the on-site parking. The staff, other than this clerk, was friendly. The room itself was old. There was no electrical outlet near the desk. An air mattress would have been more comfortable than the beds. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. We looked at it and then decided to go to a bakery up the street instead. Internet is available only in the lobby and the cost for one hour is what we paid per day at other hotels during our trip. Considering the amount that we paid for this hotel, only slightly less than the four star hotel we were at in Hamburg the night before, we expected a lot more.

From the airport one can get connecting trains to Bahnhof Flensburg Station, 2.5 kilometres from the hotel.
Driving directions: From the airport take the A7 for Flensburg, exit at Flensburg/Harrislee and head for Glucksburgh.
Flensburg is compact enough to explore on foot.
