“Best Western Luebeck”

Pricing was very good. Not in the old part of the city, but the walk was worth the difference in pricing. Good bus service also available.

“Small Gem...”

Location of the hotel is a few minutes away from the city center but acceptable. Rooms are small but clean and functional. The restaurant menu is above average, the breakfast buffet is outstanding and well worth the money.

“Nice and clean basic hotel with great breakfast buffet”

We stayed just one night. The hotel is basic, but nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was great. The only possible complaint is that there's no air-conditioning, so if it's warm outside it can probably get quite hot in the rooms. When we were there it was cool, and the windows open, so it was comfortable.

“Give it a try”

I have stayed here before(business trip) and it is a good base. it is not too far from the centre of Luebeck. Hotel staff are alsways friendly and helpful. this is a popular hotel and room are not always available. Rooms have no air con and it can get hot in the summer but the heating is great. Restaurant & bar is good but if you want to get out and aboutt here is plenty to see. parking is free but you might find it difficult to get a place. albeit the surrounding streets are safe enough.

“A nice alternative”

At the time of travel (May 2009) it was by far the most competitive hotel available for us in Luebeck. The rooms are fairly small but effcient. As the hotel is also being used by large groups as well there can be at times noise issues... nothing major though. The breakfast comes at a hefty price but is well worth the money! The restaurant associated to the hotel covers all the basics and then some... good value overall!

“Old 70s reject of a building!”

Room smelt of smoke, was in general disrepair. would not stay here again for this price
