Property Amenities
The Grand SPA Resort A-ROSA Travemünde is located next to the seashore of the Baltic Sea. The landmarked spa hotel was refurbished and extended with a new building in 2005. Since august of this year it sets new standards for luxury holidays in Germany. The most beautiful Wellness-Resort of the world (chosen from the readers of the travel magazine “VIP International Traveller 2009”) has a spa and wellness area of over 4,500 sqm with the most modern and exclusive thalassotherapy centre in Germany, as well as excellent cuisine in three different restaurants and two bars. Nine individually equipped rooms of various sizes in the historic building and in the annex are available for business events and private functions of up to 250 people. In 155 rooms and 39 suites the guests can choose between five room categories in the new and old building. With its ROSINIS kids and youth club the Grand SPA Resort A-ROSA Travemünde is also a great place for children. They have fun while the parents have time for a relaxation.

Rooms
The architectural combination of a landmarked spa hotel and a modern atmosphere can also be found in the choice of rooms. The 155 rooms and 39 suites combine historical elements of the old spa hotel with modern shapes and exquisite decoration. The rooms are divided into five different room categories, nevertheless all rooms are furnished with bright furniture and discreet colour highlights. Every room is equipped with flatscreen TV, phone, radio and WLAN, which can be booked for a fee at our reception. In addition there is also a seating area, desk, minibar, safe, make-up mirror, hairdryer and bathrobe. To afford the best service as possible guest can book a wake-up call at your reception.

The Grand SPA Resort A-ROSA Travemünde has tree different restaurants. Each of them has its own style and sense of individuality.The „Wintergartenrestaurant” offers a large sun terrace and the opportunity to experience display cooking, as well as consultation with nutritionists at the buffet. Breakfast, lunch or dinner deals with a range of specialties that are in complete harmony with the three pillars of the A-ROSA nutrition concept. Exquisite creations, pure aromas and classic flavours concur in the à la carte restaurant Buddenbrooks. Under the direction of the Michelin-starred chef Christian Scharrer regales its guests with a top-level gastronomic experience in the historical Lübeck Zimmer.The Weinwirtschaft offer a wide range of exquisite wines to complement our regional cuisine, classic favourites and freshly prepared savory bites.
In addition to these restaurants there are two bars. The Piano Lounge offers a exquisite atmosphere with live piano music. It is a place to feel good and relax, with an adjoining library and bar. In comparison to the Piano Louge the Markplatzbar is the ideal meeting place to have small talk and watch the world go by with a refreshing cocktail, an exclusive choice of wines or simply a cup of coffee and a slice of cake.

On two floors and 4,500 sqm the Grand SPA Resort A-ROSA Travemünde offers massages, body treatments, Ayurveda, a spacious beauty department as well as a 80 sqm big Private SPA-Suite with a private terrace and sea view. Seven different themes saunas, a spacious in and outdoor pool area with children’s pool and a 400 sqm big fitness and cardio area offer all facilities which guests want during their stay. Germany’s most exclusive thalassotherapy centre has its own saltwater pipeline which serves the SPA area with fresh sea water daily. In the Vitalbar guests can relax at the poolside and soak up the Baltic sunshine in the outdoor while enjoy freshly squeezed juices and fresh snacks.
