Disappointed - poor value for the money spend. - Router on 7. floor did not work and switched rooms because of it. - A/C in room on 3.floor did not work and staff was unable to get it to work - the room stayed at 77F with high humidity. - Sewer smell on the 3. floor that was intense for one afternoon. - Glas elevator on outside building is the only elevator - with hight anxiety it might be better to ask for a room on a lower level. - Restaurant and staff were exceptional! - Staff at the desk was not prepared to communicate effectively and respond to problems in a meaningful way. - Parking $ 12 / day with in and out privileges but entry is tight and not easy to maneuver with a larger car. - Not a central location and somewhat sketchy at night. - Some food options/supermarket, gas station, bakery, bank in walking distance. - No gym in the hotel. - Shower water spilled out of shower area, glasses in bathroom not clean and appeared just wiped out and not exchanged. - No phone in the rooms - there is no option to call downstairs to the reception for any issues or if anything is missing. - Hallways were hot with a rubbery smell. - In my opinion poor value for expensive rooms and overpriced parking! I picked the hotel because of the location but next time I will stay in one of the other hotels that I have used in the past and just drive more. The only thing I enjoyed here was the breakfast in the restaurant - otherwise it was aggravating.

Very below expectations
We were quite disappointed. It was the most expensive hotel of our road trip and not even half as good as the others. It didn’t look like the photos at all, and it was awkward to think it’s a four stars. When we arrived I thought it was the wrong hotel, it’s in an industrial area on a busy road with weird cheap casinos, like a motel in an American movie. the room was freezing, we asked the reception to stop the air conditioning, the guy was nice and stopped it. But it didn’t work at all and cold air was still blasting right at us. Going to the only elevator, we saw a sign which said the rooftop was closed due to an event (we booked the hotel specifically for this rooftop, as they advertise it as their best selling point). We didn’t get any heads up per email or when checking in. We booked a room upstairs to have a nice view of the city, we had a nice view on a big noisy road and saw some buildings far away. To walk to the actual city it was ok, but you’re definitely not staying in the city. Parking was 12€ a day which was ok. Breakfast was nice (and finally got to see the last floor). Overall I would recommend this hotel if it was half price and advertised as a 3 stars, because it wasn’t so terrible, the bed was comfy and the pillows too, it was just far from our expectations.

Das Zimmer ist in Ordnung, nur fehlen Wasserkocher sowie Kaffee, Tee, usw. zum selbst zubereiten. Bad Accessoires fehlen z.B. Duschhaube, Kosmetiktücher und Lotion. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es nur Aufbackware, keine frischen Brötchen. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden, aber ein bisschen eng. Tolle Aussicht über Lübeck vom 8. Stock (Bar/Restaurant). Trotz alledem war das gesamte Personal nett, freundlich und kompetent.

We only stayed 1 night here but couldn’t fault it. It had parking and an electric charge point for our car which was an additional bonus. Staff were very friendly.

Nice hotel in Lübeck with easy parking
A nice hotel with good parking option. Not that central so you need to walk into the old parts of town. The rooms are a good size and there was a good breakfast in the morning.

The picture on Expedia shows a bathtub in the bathroom. Only certain rooms have tubs, and they are only a few and a higher price ($30) than the standard room. The hotel is NOT centrally located. The beds are extraordinarily uncomfortable with plastic feeling bed linens and thin foam pillows. The floors are wood which means you hear everything from the room above.

The room was great and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast at the rooftop was also excellent. 1- There’s no fridge in the room which was disappointing. 2- I think they should update their reservations system. I only booked this hotel because I wanted a smoking room and I booked one. There are no smoking rooms. 3- when I arrived the parking was locked. I called an employee who was friendly and helpful but they should communicate that

Not worth the money, season or not.
Food in the restaurant was really good. Beds are hard as a rock. Breakfast ok. WiFi is crap. Parking is expensive. Remote control of the tv didn’t work. Not worth the money, season or not.

Great overnight stay with family
Was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms, simple but elegant design, impeccable cleanliness and the breakfast. We were a family of 7 who had 2 rooms for 3. Our youngest slept between us parents.

A View and Breakfast, too!
We loved the shower and the shower head. The breakfast was fantastic and we had a nice dinner there overlooking Luebeck.

Would come again
Nice place a short walk from town. Room was pleasant, would have liked some tea and coffee making facilities and it could get noisy from rooms above, due to wooden flooring. Breakfast was good, wifi was good. Nice roof terrace with good view over Lubeck.

The Hotel is ok but you can hear you neighbour next door and the price for parking is too high for that parking garage. The breakfast was great and the stuff very helpful and kind

most of the staff did not understand English
Spent two nights here the hotel was nice but I got no sleep due to a weird humming noise which I think was coming from the lift .i reported it to the reception but they could not do anything and did not understand English very well. Which did not help me two nights no sleep is not what you pay a hotel for

When I booked a standard room ( not economy room ) I wasn't aware that one actually has to request a "normal room with a normal bathroom and toilet". That very concept is considered normal in my world! Our room was not ready yet when we arrived, ( too early) so we left the luggage at the hotel and did some sightseeing in Lübeck. When we returned we got a "surprise". The room itself was on the first floor, literally next to the only elevator in th 7story building, so we had the please to experience the loud noises and every stop of every single guest using that elevator. That night I was introduced to ear plugs. The best is yet to come. The room itself was clean, functional , minimally furnitured in a modern style. The " bathroom" was a " see through" corner of the room with a glass wall . The sink and the shower head were partly separated by another piece of glass which was about one meter from the bed. No curtain whatsoever to give atleast some privacy. The actual toilet had a sliding door made of frosted glass, but one was still very visible when using the toilet. Especially when the toilet light was on and the bedroom light wasn't. To make a long story short...whether you shower, use the toilet etc. your family can certainly enjoy the show. Last, but not least...using the toilet will wake up everyone else in the room if you decide to turn on the only light there. Its just glass! Reception told me I should have requested a " normal bathroom". Really?

Family trip to visit relations in Lubeck - everything was great with the hotel and only a short brisk walk into the Christmas markets in the city.

The hotel is ok but the wifi is not good in the room. Saturday nigth the restaurant and bar was closet for a private arrangement. The guests staying at the hotel was informed with a note in the room Saturday morning, after we had left the hotel for sigthseeing. There was only one restaurant in the nigbourhood (chinese and to walk to the city center takes approx. 20 minutes. So no facilities in the hotel for the guests on a Saturday night. That is not ok for a 4 stars hotel.

Lübeck fly-by.
We only stayed a night in this hotel en-route to Rügen so perhaps did not have enough time to really get to experience it. Room was fine, if not a little noisy from our upstairs neighbour, but the hotel is situated a fair walk from Lübeck town centre - so be warned. Parking was €10 for 24 hrs.
