Convenient Hotel for CruisePosted Jun 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
Located just next or within walking distance to the rail and bus terminal. Can walk to the cruise terminal if you travel light but taxi is cheap to the cruise terminal. Room is very small but clean. Has free bus to most areas and is good if you know where you want to go. Lots of restaurant around and the Greek one in the rail terminal complex is very good. Worth a trial. Price is very reasonable but not including b/f. Nice view to the open water.

Quick night stay - clean, safe, and closePosted Dec 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The title says it all. We stayed at this hotel on the way to visit family, it was close to the train station (next door), we were able to walk close to get a great dinner, the parking is on site and reasonably priced, the rooms are clean, the hotel is safe, and it is close to a lot in the area. If we needed another stop-over spot again we would stay here for sure.

Right at the Train Station not good for sleepPosted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very friendly staff and clean room. But, no air conditioning. Our room faced the rail road tracks. We left the windows open (it was August) for air. But, the train recording kept us awake. Bed is not comfortable. Only two pillows and two twin size comforters (we prefer to sleep together). Nice staff and clean room....but, would not stay here again. No sleep.

Convenient but blistering hotPosted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was a nice hotel in an excellent location for train travelers. The only negative, and it was quite important during our visit, is there is no air conditioning in the rooms. It was a blistering hot day and our room was quite uncomfortable because of the heat. We chose not to open the windows at night because of the street noise, and so it was quite stuffy in the room. Other than this, the hotel was great. Free coffee in the lobby and a very friendly staff. I think it was unusually warm for Kiel during our stay.
