Front desk staff was excellent, especially Lucas (I hope I got his name right). The only downside was paying for parking. Location is perfect, close to everything!

Excellent hotel, well organized, extremely quiet, the view from our room was really great, the staff is very friendly and goes out of its way to help, the food is really good, the swimming pool is wonderful, loved the 2 saunas! We could not find faults although we were there for 5 nights! We gladly go again.

We were very happily surprised y the quality and level of attention at the Radison Blu. Very well located with a view across the canal, yet reachable by foot from the rail station and convenient to town. The room was goodly sized and very well laid out making excellent use of the space. A small comfortable seating area in the room was a plus. We enjoyed a high quality, beautifully presented (fresh fruit with the dessert cake; a cookie with the coffees), fairly priced light morning snack in their Cafe Dante. Weather permitting, there were outside tables and chairs for enjoying the view across the canal. The hotel lived up to its 5 star rating.

The hotel exceeded my expectations by far! The room and bathroom do not have the typical hotel flair. The bathroom is functional but aesthetically pleasing. There is a wellness area with a pool and two different saunas that can be accessed with a separate elevator. Everything including the wellness area was very clean. The staff was very friendly and efficient. In terms of location the hotel is just a short walk from the old town with some major sightseeing/tourist attractions. Parking on the outside parking lot is six euros per day. It’s also not too far from the rail station but with luggage most people would want to take a cab instead of walking. There is no bakery next door - The breakfast buffet is excellent but for people who just want a cup of coffee and a croissant perhaps not worth the price.

Great location, and extremely friendly staff. Lounging in their lawn chairs overlooking Lübeck Innenstadt while sipping on a cold drink from the bar was delightful! The garage is conveniently located underneath the hotel, accessible by elevators. The hotel offers a nice breakfast buffet. Given the heat wave while we were visiting, we were certainly grateful for the air conditioning in our room. We'd definitely stay there again.

Looks good from the outside
Without doubt this hotel is in a fantastic location and looks good on first impressions. However , looks can deceive and there are many areas where things can be improved. Check in was poor and we were having to ask questions which should have been answered unprompted. Our room was excellent with delightful river views. I have to say that of the 5 hotels visited this had the worst breakfast. Poorly designed restaurant , limited selection of food on offer and table staff who clearly did not want to be there. Table clearance slow. The one bright spot was Rene in the Wunderbar . He put his customers first and was providing exceptional service . Spa facilities were bland , and so much more could have been done with the space available ( a steam room for example ) YES , a nice hotel , but could be so much better

Hotel location is wonderful but very expensive … and our expensive rate did not include breakfast. And although the room was spacious, the air conditioning was not effective at all … especially in the sleeping area. in addition, one of the two beds was uneven and lop-sided. Fortunately, we loved Luebeck and the great location made our stay still wonderful.
