Enjoyable.

Pleasant taking the shuttle to places of interest. A restaurant on site would have been nice but there were many places to eat on the shuttle route. Staff was nice and helpful.

2nd time staying. Happy I did.

Like this hotel. Contemporary. Comfortable. Think targeted to the young professional. Like the bar - which serves food - in the lobby area. No room service, but a deli:cafe style pick up your food and go available in lobby. Both stays - staff super friendly and helpful. Will stay yet again next time in area.

Great hotel located in a great place!

The modern style was well done. The little bar and food area located onsite was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Located in a perfect spot to get to BWI, the Mall(which has everything one would need), and restaurants.

Aloft

Posted May 22, 2015
We enjoyed our two-night stay until we had someone banging on our door at 2:30 a.m., 2:35 a.m.. 3:00 a.m., x 5 on the second night. Now, I know unruly guests are not the hotel's responsibility, however, we did call the front desk and asked them to check it out as we were afraid to open the door because the person kept hiding behind the peep hole and there are many horror stories about women accidentally opening the door to the wrong people. Anyway, the front desk supposedly sent security to walk the halls, but we never saw anyone or heard of anyone checking our area and they certainly didn't notify us of their presence if they had. the next morning we asked about it and one person had no idea what we were talking about and the other said they didn't find anything. The doors are open and available to two separate hotels and I felt it was a huge security fail on their part that they didn't at least notify us to let us know they didn't find anything or anyone as it wasn't just a knock on the door once or even twice, it was 5 times...loudly...with no answer and hiding in the hallway so we couldn't see them - which is frightening in itself if you think about it. Other than this, we really liked the hotel a lot. Most of the staff was wonderful, bartender very friendly and rooms very clean and fun.

A Backpacker Vibe

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: It is a short and convenient ride to the airport.
Cons: The woman at the front desk asked if we were married. We are, but I don't think that she should be asking folks that question. It seemed odd to us.
Location: It is close to the casino and airport. A nice Italian restaurant isn't far.
This hotel was more expensive then the nearby Hilton, yet it wasn't as nice. If it was a Backpacker hostel or budget hotel, I would have given it a five star, but for the price, it was lacking. The bed wasn't comfortable (it was too hard), the air condition was too loud and the staff seemed distracted and too informal/unprofessional at the front desk. There is a pool table when you enter the hotel, modern decor, and a casual bar that attracts a younger crowd. For this price, they should also offer a complimentary breakfast. On the positive side, the room was clean, the bathroom was big, and the shower was nice. We had a nice TV and it was conveniently located near the airport.

One Night Near BWI

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: Décor was very cool.
Cons: Desk staff could use some customer service guidance. They were pretty young. Consider, a smile and a pleasant greeting.
My wife and I stayed at Aloft one night on a long weekend getaway that included Princeton, Philadelphia and DC. The hotel was conveniently located between PHL and DC.
