The name is misleading. Be careful. Getting from the parking garage can be dangerous.

Cons: TV options and breakfast. need to improve menu

The hotel is nice but there are not variety of TV channels to watch. You are stuck watching news only. kind of disappointing!

Older hotel, not very clean, strong chemical scent

Wireless connection was not working in the upstairs rooms all weekend. Free breakfast selection was not very good, a lot of stale foods. Staff was nice enough but not outstanding. Overall NOT a good value for the price charged,

Thank you for your feedback. I would like to begin with offering my sincerest apologies for the undoubted inconvenience caused to you due to unacceptable room conditions. We do not take cleanliness issues lightly - it has to be priority number one. Our Housekeeping staff aims to exceed all our guests’ expectations, but it seems we did not follow the processes in place of inspecting all rooms prior to a guest check-in. However, I appreciate you pointing out our convenient location. I do hope you will give us another chance to prove ourselves and return to Baltimore Harbor Hotel. Juan A Webster General Manager

Disappointed

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was nicely decorated and very clean.
Cons: See above
Location: Camden Yards Stadium and Inner Harbor locations.
First, the hotel was not as conveniently located to Camden Yards or the Inner Harbor as advertised. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable, BUT there was no place in the room to use as a vanity for hair and make-up. There were not enough towels and why oh why was there no fan in the bathroom. (and why don't hotels provide air freshners?) Also, while waiting for the very slow elevator people could hear a guest in a nearby room coughing and hacking. It was a very awkward wait for the guests gathered at the elevator and not fair to the poor guest who believed he was in the privacy of his room. The free breakfast on Sunday morning may have been good, but when they ran out of regular coffee and orange juice TWICE, we gave up. The wait to get our car from the valet was about 20 minutes, which is a long time to be standing around in the heat and humidity. Finally, and I know as a smoker I am a nuisance to society and a danger to myself and everyone around me, is it possible to arrange a smoking area that is not on the public sidewalk in front of the hotel? Is there no other spot on the entire property where a customer, paying inflated "Yankees in town" prices for TWO ROOMS could possibly sit down and relax for a few minutes and smoke a cigarette without being in the way of pedestrians and getting the evil eye from guests waiting for the valet?

Old, outdated

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Location to the events we wanted to visit
Cons: EVERYTHING from the staff lying to full maintenance
Location: close to the events we wanted to go to
I stayed with this hotel in the late 90's so when I returned for this trip I was expecting a nice stay but minutes after checking in was very unhappy. The room was very warm checked the AC settings and it read 60, you can feel air moving from the unit and felt cool but only a foot from the vent. Asked the font desk to have it checked, 5 minutes later a service man showed up took off the cover removed the filter looked at it and then returned it to the unit closed up the cover and started to walk out. Asked him what's the verdict and he tells us he replaced the filter and it is fine, "sir we were standing right next to you and you did not replace anything" and he just left!! Next at check in was told we have free WiFi and no password was needed, tried several time to sign on to the WiFi and nothing, asked the front desk what we were doing wrong, "Oh sorry the WiFi does not work on the floor you are on" Then why did you not tell me that in the beginning??? Very unhappy, was a not worth the rate they charged me for all the problems that NO COULD FIX!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about your stay with us. I was extremely saddened to read that we were not attentive to your needs and that our lack of responsiveness marred your stay with us. I assure you this is not the typical level of service at our hotel. I would also like to inform you that, I have already addressed your feedback regarding your concerns to the Engineering department and can assure you that immediate steps will be taken. I am also sorry to know that you found us expensive. Thank you again for the candid feedback and we hope to have the chance of regaining your confidence, when your travels bring you back to the Baltimore Harbor area. Juan A Webster General Manager

Disappointing

Posted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: Relatively cheap, within walking distance of the harbor and convention center.
This is an old, tired hotel. The carpet in the room was buckled, the drawers on the furniture didn't close properly, the bathroom is small, the stopper on the sink was missing, etc. Lots of little things that suggest they don't pay much attention to detail. The "Free Breakfast" was an appeal, but it turns out not to be much. A few do-it-yourself waffle makers, some cereal, a few muffins, apples, bananas, small yogurts and some bread and bagels. Great if you like carbs, but get there early because they run out of many items and don't re-stock. They ran out of cereal, too, which was surprising since it tasted stale. Whole milk in a pitcher for the cereal was the only option.
