Pros: Lage, kostenfreies und wirklich gutes WLAN
Cons: Schulung der Mitarbeiter, Heizung im Zimmer ungenügend, dünne Wände (man hört alles von nebenan)
Location: in Laufreichweite zum Inner Harbor mit vielen Attraktionen wie dem National Aquarium, Metro und Light Rail Stationen sind fußläufig gut erreichbar
Das Bild des an sich netten und sehr zentral gelegenen Hotels wird leider durch ein paar Dinge getrübt. Beim einchecken wurde mir nahe gelegt ich sollte das Valet Parking benutzen, was mit $24-$32/Tag nicht gerade günstig ist. Meine Frage nach "Self-Parking" wurde erst beim zweiten Mal mürrisch mit "Go ask the valet guys. Maybe they have an idea" beantwortet. Die Antwort: Man nimmt einfach die Tiefgarage DIREKT vor der Tür für $15/Tag. Man könnte ja wenigstens beide Optionen dem Kunden direkt anbieten, oder? Weiterhin verstehe ich unter "Deluxe Breakfast" durchaus etwas anderes. Es bestand mehrheitlich aus der Möglichkeit sich frische Waffeln selber zu backen. Ansonsten gab es nur Toast oder Bagel, gummiartigen Creme Cheese, Fruchtgelee (wenn noch etwas übrig war) und Corn Flakes Ähnliches. Also das was andere Hotels im Rahmen eines Standard Continental Breakfast anbieten. Am ersten Tag meines Aufenthaltes gab es für über 20 min keinen Kaffee (außer abgestandenen Koffeinfreien), weil man vergessen hatte welchen zu kochen. Zu guter letzt das House Keeping: wenn ich ein Hotelzimmer um 10:30 verlasse sollte man doch meinen das bis um 17:30 das Zimmer gemacht wurde, oder? Fehlanzeige. Als ich zurück kam war alles noch wie morgens. Um 17:40 klopfte es dann an der Tür, was nun zu dem Problem führte das ich mich für einen Abendtermin fertig machen musste und somit etwas unter Zeitdruck war. Ergebnis: Mehr als ein bisschen das Bett machen fand nicht statt.

The unexpected

When I arrived the hotel looked old from the outside. Valet was present and took my car in a speedy manner. When I got inside, I was plenty surprised. Fresh flowers filled the air, friendly staff, and very quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Nice! The room was regular and clean. They could use some Clorox for their grout tile work in the bathroom but that's just me. Linens were clean. I was disappointed that we were charge for a microwave when a fridge was already included in the room/fees. I was also disappointed about parking fees but it wasn't unexpected since we were in the city. My friend had questions that the staff was more than happy to answer. Nice people. All in all, very nice trip. I'd do it again

My one night visit at the hotel was not pleasant. The room was extremely small and cold because the thermostat was not working properly and the front desk receptionist was not welcoming nor look very happy to be working on Sunday.

No water in the gym for three days. Swimming pool was empty but no barricades preventing kids from falling in. Staff was very friendly. Downtown area was convenient

Friendly Downtown Hotel

The Baltimore Harbor Hotel has wonderful staff and truly give the Charm City a good name. The valets are all great, in particular, Herbert. I would highly recommend staying here whilst visiting Baltimore.

Very convenient

Clean comfortable room. Close parking garage.well kept facility. Great staff.only negative was a drafty window in room.

Super accommodating staff

This hotel is very nice and the staff seems to go above and beyond helping you. They arranged for trnsportation to and from a show we came to Baltimore to see. Very nice and polite. The room was also spacious and clean.

Would not go back.

Room was unbearably hot (even though we set it on the coldest temp). The light in the entrance way of the room zapped on and off, plugs fell out of outlets because they were so 'loose,' and the sheets smelled strongly of bleach (which is good on one hand I suppose but the smell made sleeping difficult). Room and bathroom were very small. Not a positive experience.
