Great location but some quirks

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Very convenient to Inner Harbor. The room itself was fine and decently appointed (low ceilings!) but the bathroom was cramped and dated with icky stains on the floor and tiles and peeling paint. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast offering on the top floor with a lovely view. Street noise below was noticeable late at night from the 2nd floor (sounded like drunk people). No on-site parking, but there was a garage just half a block away (so factor in $21/night extra).

Great Hotel close to the Inner Harbor

Posted Jun 22, 2015
We loved the modern look of the hotel. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable with lots of amenities: refrigerator, microwave, sink, nice view, and spacious. Just a 3 minute walk to the Inner Harbor!

Perfect location

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Perfect location near Inner Harbor. Very good breakfast on top floor overlooking the waterfront. Hotel is clean and staff are helpful and friendly
Cons: Nice art deco style. The rooms have been renovated a bit, but you still get the feeling that it's a bit dated.
Location: Inner Harbor is right next door. Fells Point is not far. There is a parking garage on the same street with reasonable rates.
We were there for a college graduation. We've stayed at this hotel several times and were always satisfied.

Beautiful plce and excellent staff.

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: As listed above in our experience.
We were disappointed as our room was facing the main street and we heard sirens all night long. Room was directly accross from the elevator and we heard every guest as they entered/exited.

Great hotel a block away from the inner harbor.

I was pleasantly surprised with our room. The suite was large with flat screen TV's in both rooms. The room/hotel had a "retro vibe". The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower head was amazing.

Excellent value

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, good location, good value for the money.
Cons: The suite had a small sink, microwave, and refrigerator in the living room. A wall-mounted bottle opener would have been a nice touch.
Location: You can see the harbor from some rooms, although the hotel is a block away from the streets that run next to the harbor. Good restaurants nearby.
Close to inner harbor and many great restaurants. Good breakfast included in room rate. Suite was very roomy, with really comfortable bed, strong wifi, and plenty of hot water in the shower. Room rate was a great value compared to many hotels nearby. I would definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity to return to Baltimore.

Best Place on Baltimore's Inner Harbor and Arena.

Perfect and uneventful in the best way. Two affordable parking garages less than a block away. A block from the Inner Harbor attractions. Half a block to the Galleria Shopping Mall, pharmacy, restaurants. Two blocks to the Children's Museum, and other exhibits and my conference. Clean spacious bright and open room.

OK but not for the 'big n tall'

Posted Mar 24, 2015 on Hotels
Everything went as expected and we enjoyed our stay. The only negative comments are that our suite would not suit "big n tall". The ceilings are very low in spots and the bathroom is small.

Hey Thomas, thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. If you do recommend us to any of your taller friends we recommend that they request a room on one of the upper floors, as they have higher ceilings. Thank you again, and we hope to see you again soon!

Diamond in the Rough

Posted Mar 17, 2015 on Hotels
The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. After getting to our original room my wife decided she wanted a King bed instead of a queen. The staff upgraded us to a king room at no additional charge which was awesome. Only issue was that our view went from looking out over the harbor to looking at the brick wall of the abandoned building next door. But, hey, it was a free upgrade. There are several hospitals in relatively close proximity to the hotel so we heard ambulances racing by at all times of the day and night. But in reality, it didn't really interfere with our sleep. Other than that, you can't beat the location. One block from Inner Harbor, and right on the Charm City Circulator (free bus) line. All in all, I would stay here again.
