4th of July in Baltimore

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Staff was outstanding. Suite was a good size and clean.
Cons: The shower had a low ceiling. Sink could have more counter space for toiletries. The gym could be more well-rounded w/ more weights/machines.
Location: Location was right by the Inner Harbor - walking distance to many attractions/bars/restaurants
Staff was phenomenal - Extremely Friendly and provided Good Recommendations. I was there with my girlfriend for a long weekend during the 4th of July. Really enjoyed our stay. Easy to find and parking was available at a garage just a half block away.

Disappointed

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Convenient to the Inner Harbor Area.
Cons: Air Condition. TV did not work properly. Had a smell to the room.
Location: Inner Harbor National Aquarium Baltimore Oriole Baltimore Ravens Numerous Museums
Check in was very easy. Once I checked in we immediately went into the city and did not return to the room until late. Once we arrived the air condition was not working properly. The bedroom area was very small along with the bathroom being small. I had to check out a day early, when I notified the staff, they told me they could not refund the night I was unable to stay because I booked it through Expedia. They told me if I had booked it through them they could. So I was out of the second night stay. If you spend several nights in the area, be prepared to pay a lot for parking.

Great location but some quirks

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Very convenient to Inner Harbor. The room itself was fine and decently appointed (low ceilings!) but the bathroom was cramped and dated with icky stains on the floor and tiles and peeling paint. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast offering on the top floor with a lovely view. Street noise below was noticeable late at night from the 2nd floor (sounded like drunk people). No on-site parking, but there was a garage just half a block away (so factor in $21/night extra).

Great Hotel close to the Inner Harbor

Posted Jun 22, 2015
We loved the modern look of the hotel. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable with lots of amenities: refrigerator, microwave, sink, nice view, and spacious. Just a 3 minute walk to the Inner Harbor!

Perfect location

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Perfect location near Inner Harbor. Very good breakfast on top floor overlooking the waterfront. Hotel is clean and staff are helpful and friendly
Cons: Nice art deco style. The rooms have been renovated a bit, but you still get the feeling that it's a bit dated.
Location: Inner Harbor is right next door. Fells Point is not far. There is a parking garage on the same street with reasonable rates.
We were there for a college graduation. We've stayed at this hotel several times and were always satisfied.

Beautiful plce and excellent staff.

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: As listed above in our experience.
We were disappointed as our room was facing the main street and we heard sirens all night long. Room was directly accross from the elevator and we heard every guest as they entered/exited.

Great hotel a block away from the inner harbor.

I was pleasantly surprised with our room. The suite was large with flat screen TV's in both rooms. The room/hotel had a "retro vibe". The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower head was amazing.

Excellent value

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, good location, good value for the money.
Cons: The suite had a small sink, microwave, and refrigerator in the living room. A wall-mounted bottle opener would have been a nice touch.
Location: You can see the harbor from some rooms, although the hotel is a block away from the streets that run next to the harbor. Good restaurants nearby.
Close to inner harbor and many great restaurants. Good breakfast included in room rate. Suite was very roomy, with really comfortable bed, strong wifi, and plenty of hot water in the shower. Room rate was a great value compared to many hotels nearby. I would definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity to return to Baltimore.

Outstanding stay!

Posted Apr 7, 2015 on Hotels
The service was outstanding. We needed to upgrade to a larger room the second day because of last-minute plans with friends, then had to check out a day early, and it was the smoothest outcome. Friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful staff! The rooms are clean and fashionably modern, although the bathroom fixtures and elevators are outdated (but all worked quite well). The included breakfast is surprisingly robust and fresh! We didn't have a chance to visit the RedBar, the in-house wine/beer bar but it looked cool. And the location is great, a perfect 2-5 min walk to the harbor and lots of convenience stores, restaurants and activities nearby. They don't have valet parking but 2 parking garages are across the street and down the block (20 or 30 for the full night/day, I believe). Would definitely stay here again.
