An unpleasant experience…
All I ever asked for in hotels, are clean sheets, clean bathroom and most of all, CLEAN TOWELS!!!
That was not the case at this hotel. We (my dad and I) checked in around 9:30 Saturday night and the first issue was the light switch by the door did not work. The beds were made, but the sheets did not appear to be freshly cleaned. We were both tired so I decided to look past that. The next morning as I was getting ready to take a shower, was when I saw the dirty washcloth hanging over the shower curtain rod and the bathtub also looked dirty. Immediately I felt disgusted. I removed the washcloth and threw it on the floor. I opened the last set of folded supposedly clean bath towel, and that was filthy too. It was apparent that housekeeping saw a folded towel, though it was clean, and never checked it (not surprising, since the dirty washcloth that was visible, was not removed)
That was the last straw, I felt sick to my stomach. I immediately got dressed and left the room as quickly as I could (I showered at my daughter).
As we checked out, I informed the front desk about the conditions of the room. She seems indifferent, but did apologize. She gave us the manager’s name and number to call the following day (she claimed he was not onsite that morning). I called and left several messages and never got a return call.
Terrible experience and even worse customer service!
