Pros: The staff! They really were terrific.The room was quite comfortable: great bed, pillows, spacious enough. Healthy options were available at The Bistro
Cons: I'm not sure if it was cleaning products, or an air freshener via the HVAC, but an aroma triggered my asthma. Scent-free products would be appreciated
Location: Convenient to highways, shops of all sorts, a movie theatre and restaurants (within walking distance, even).
The staff at The Courtyard is excellent: very friendly, helpful & professional.I was impressed by everyone with whom we interacted, from passing a man in the hall from maintenance to the front desk clerk, everyone exuded a terrific attitude towards their jobs & the guests.Even on a holiday, when some may be unhappy about having to work, the staff were terrific.The exercise room was not as impressive as it appeared on the website. It was adequate for a short stay, offering free weights (starting at a rather high poundage -- I'm rehab'ing a back injury, & at this time, the 5# weights are beyond what my therapist wants me to use) & a total of 3 aerobic machines -- a treadmill, bike & elliptical, one of each. The Bistro is limited in food/hours, slightly over-priced (not horribly so) for the items. It had healthy options, & would be good for a quick bite in a hurry, but we didn't find it especially convenient nor satisfying. There is a little 24-hr shop near the front desk with food items & necessities, which is nice. The room was overall comfortable. And I can't say enough about the staff. I overheard an exchange between the woman at the front desk & some guests. Apparently, there was something they had wanted in their room that wasn't there.They were quite rude throughout much of the exchange. The employee was consistently gracious & helpful, & eventually satisfied their concern. I was very impressed with her ability to maintain her composure, and to ultimately satisfy them.

Location: Hunt valley mall is within walking distance and had lots of choices for meals and shopping.
Room was clean and comfortable. Lobby was nice but did not really use any of the on site facilities. Just there to sleep one night and move on. Bathroom and tub need to be updated. Tub bottom looked dirty but was just old.

Pros: Friendly service.
Cons: Might be time to renovate.
Location: Close ti Inner Harbor attractions.
I was able to visit relatives nearby in Baltimore w/o paying Baltimore rates.

Bathroom was not good, Rest of Hotel was Fine

The bathroom needed a good scrub. There were no bath towels only hand towels. The sheets were thin. The convenience of the lobby area with food, snacks, starbucks was a plus.

This was in a very convenient location for what we had planned for the weekend in Baltimore. It was great being near the shopping center and close to the highway. The Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, and the hotel was very clean.

Great hotel for the price

Pros: Clean and organized. Everyone seemed to have a job to do and they did it. No complaints whatsoever
Cons: Everything was flawless.
Location: Went to the MoonRise Music Festival for the weekend. Very enjoyable, Taxi Service was arranged by the hotel as well, free of charge.
Enjoyed everything from check-in to check-out. Food was good at the contenental breakfast, and room service was prompt. Many added amenities make staying here a no-brainer. Highly Recommended, will be staying again if I am in the area.

Lovely accommodations

The hotel was lovely - good service, friendly staff. I've stayed there before and they've actually improved (in my opinion) by putting in a bistro right in the lobby. Food available at all hours. What I didn't like (and frankly, don't understand) is their lack of shuttle to the mall and/or light rail. This is an amenity that they might consider in the future. The Light Rail to Hunt Valley is a convenient, comfortable way to travel but not if you have to walk 20 minutes, with luggage, to your hotel.
