It is what it is

It was your basic hotel experience. Staff wasn't friendly, but wasn't unfriendly either.

Good overall

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Negatives, carpet in room was worn a little and maybe a few more channels on the tv. Other than that, very nice hotel. Stayed for 3 days and visited family and the inner harbor. Cleaning staff was very nice and thorough. Clean sheets and towels every day. The breakfast was good. Front desk staff was pleasant. For the money, can't beat it. When we visit again, we are definitely staying here again

This was a disappointment. The hotel was filthy.

At check in we were promptly charged $40 more then we expected. The room was filthy with hair on the bathroom floor. The carpet was so dirty it turned our whit socks black!

Motel/Hotel

Posted Jul 15, 2014
One of the best hotels in the area, but this place is still a dump. I had higher expectations upon arriving. Free breakfast yes... Nothing to get excited about though. Plan accordingly b/c the dining area is small & gets crowded. Hotel rooms are small & bath tub is slippery so be careful. The room isn't the cleanest. With all this said... I did get what I paid for but, I don't think it was worth the price.

Disappointed

Posted Jun 28, 2014
When we arrived, the floor had clearly not been vacuumed and the sink counter had crusted soap chunks on it. The AC was irradic ....thermostat was not acting right. Had to wait 20 min at check in, and were ignored. Breakfast ends way too early. Our door was always jammed.... Hard to enter. Coffee maker kept turning off. Needed unplugged/ re plugged. Safe was broken. Maid banged on door early as we slept when privacy sign was up.

Convenience

Posted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Most of the staff
Cons: Perhaps expand breakfast with diabetics in mind.
Location: I did not explore the area. I needed access to Laurel Park Race Track and the hotel was well placed for that purpose.
The Days Inn and Suites of Laurel Maryland placed me in perfect proximity to Laurel Park Race Track where I was checking on the condition of my horse. I was less than 4 minutes from the barn area.

Good Value for the Price.

Traveling to Atlanta GA from Boston MA. This hotel in Laurel MD is in the mind point of both city. It is a good stay over 1 night hotel. The price is reasonable, and the room is clean.

Very convenient to Washington, DC Metro. Breakfast on day 1 had no orange juice and no decaf coffee. Both were corrected for day 2.

room was disgusting

Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: room was disgusting. cigarette burns on tub in a "non-smoking room". broken bathroom door. shower needed better cleaning - (e.g. mold on fixtures)
Location: shady.
I would not book this hotel again. Photos on website were deceiving and hotel was in questionable area of town.

Don't Expect Much

Posted May 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
The rooms badly need to be renovated and smell like smoke. Along with this, they are cleaned half-fast and with cheap products - it left the bathroom floor tiles feeling slimy and the carpet in the room was not vacuumed. The staff is unprofessional and the gym is a joke. I realize it's only a days inn, but I actually would have expected a little more.
