Our room was large and very clean. It was quiet and we were please to find that there was a restaurant and lounge on site. I would recommend this hotel.

Pros: bathrooms, cookie
Cons: between room souundproofing and main door soundproofing
Location: shop, hike, party
Loud air conditioning units. Doors don't have great soundproofing. Nice bathrooms and room. But you go to a hotel for sleeping and it was difficult because of all the noise.

Near MPP Venue

Posted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: location next to a music venue.
The vicinity is good. Getting to the actual hotel can be tricky. Room service food was disappointing. Ordered room service twice - both orders on different days were wrong and or missing items, cold, or inedible. Front Desk staff was nice. Hotel itself could use a good scrub down/ deep clean - lots of dingy bits about it. There was a wedding that weekend that took place in the atrium/lobby that went on and on from check in until about 6am. I get weddings should be fun but having one blasting music right outside your room door all night isn't. Nor are drunks with children running about all hours of the night. Couldn't get switched to another room. Didn't get any sleep. Food was awful.

Nice Hotel

Posted May 7, 2014
Pros: Breakfast buffet was good & reasonable price. Bathroom was very well lit & nice & new. Beds were new & comfy.
Cons: Room was too dim-not enough lighting. Air conditioner too noisy in room. Disappointed in late night bar menu & price of $10. per app was too high.
Location: Very good location in terms of Columbia Town Center - liked the shuttle service.
Overall, this hotel stay was good- loved the warm cookies at the front desk. Restaurant was nice. Room was nice - everything's new.

Reasonably close to both Baltimore and DC

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Excellent staff.
Cons: Hot tub could use a good cleaning.
Location: About a half hour from Baltimore, 45 minutes from DC.
Incredibly pleasant and helpful staff. Plus free warm cookies on check out and check in. And when you look hungry. Or tired.

Conference

Posted Mar 26, 2014
Pros: The decor in the rooms is very nice. The quality of the sheets, and bedding is very nice. The bathroom is spotlessly clean and up to date.
Location: We spent the day in Ellicot City, which is nearby and a very enjoyable day. Shopping, microbreweries, antiques and wineries to enjoy!
I attended a conference at this hotel, and my husband travels with me. We always enjoy this hotel, it is lovely. Clean, comfortable and the staff just keeps getting nicer and nicer, every time we arrive we get fresh warm cookies! Our room was quiet, clean and nicely appointed.

Wonderful Weekend Stay

Posted Jan 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed over the weekend to get a break from the busy city. I must say, the hotel accommodations (Indoor pool, gym, beautiful room, restaurant) were absolutely wonderful! We took full advantage of everything this hotel had to offer. The staff were very friendly and the process of checking in and checking out was very quick and easy. We went for a swim in the indoor swimming pool and took a dip in the hot tub. We were the only two people at the pool for over an hour before some other hotel guests arrived and it was great to feel like we had our own private indoor pool. The next morning we ate breakfast at the restaurant (the double tree breakfast). It wasn't the best breakfast I've ever had, but it was affordable $10 and they had a lot to choose from at the buffet. I recommend skipping the eggs, and hot items and stick with muffins and packaged items. The coffee was good though and we had plenty to drink and eat. We also used the gym after breakfast and found that we had the facility all to ourselves. It's not a large gym but it has the essentials for a decent work out - treadmills, weights, exercise balls, etc... The only mild thing I could complain about - the elevators were not working for much of our stay- not a big deal because I like to take the stairs anyways. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel and I definitely will stay again!
