Odd issues but got a lucky upgrade

We arrived and immediately heard a crazy loud buzzing out of the air unit that repeated at a one to two minute interval. We knew we could never sleep with that and called the desk who sent someone right up. We went down to the lobby for a while and went back up to the room and the buzzing was still going on. Called again and they said they sent someone up but we said it wasn't fixed. Called back again and they wound up giving us another room that wound up being a handicapped suite and an upgrade, which was good. The cleanliness was acceptable. Decor was a little tired and needing an upgrade but was nothing too terrible. Our friends had a hard time getting the limo to pick them up from the airport.

Enjoyable accommodations

Pros: clean, large room with nice layout
Cons: The breakfast could have included cups of yogurt, greater variety of pastries, hard boiled eggs, a bit more creativity in the egg menu.
Location: good location to airport and area stores--we primarily were visiting relatives
We came to visit relatives in the area. The hotel was very convenient to both the airport and the people that we came to visit. The lobby had a large comfortable area for visiting. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Rooms were very quiet and we did not hear other guests while in our room.

Decent For What I Paid

The room was medium sized with a lot of amenities crammed in; though it didn't feel too cramped. The bath was spacious. We couldn't figure out how to work the hotel phone & the staff weren't helpful in figuring it out, but, otherwise, it was a good stay.

The cleanliness of the room was questionable. I had an incident that required that we move rooms. Unfortunately it was late at night otherwise we would have left. I am seeking a resolution with management at this time.

Pros: Good location to mall and great shuttle service
Location: Arundel Mall and Casino
Breakfast was supposed to last until 10am. At 9:10 am-no hot food present. The server's attitude was apparent that she wasn't in a hurry to get anything else out to eat.

Worth the money!

I found this hotel to be incredibly nice and well worth the money. Room is very spacious and modern. You'll find a digital thermostat that makes it easy to control the air, flat screen with premium channels, small fridge if you need to bring something back or want something for late night, and very comfortable bed. The other amenities were good too. Buffet style breakfast is served every morning. You'll have one meat, eggs, potatoes, cereal, fruit, bagels, muffins, juice (apple, cranberry & orange), & coffee or tee. They have a nice fitness room but I didn't get an opportunity to visit. It looked nice as I walked by with my bagel with jelly in hand. They have a business center (2 computers & printer) and a pool. Only downside is there's quite a bit of construction in the area so on weekdays you may be awaken to that.

Good not Great

Had a good stay. There were a couple minor issues. There were no forks or frying pans in the room . Nor was there a DVD player. The phone never worked. Busy signal. However , the staff accomadated us and our requests immediately . The breakfast was a good except for the eggs and chicken sausage which didn't taste very good.

Worst Stay EVER!!!

Came to the hotel as part of my birthday trip for the weekend. Upon arrival we checked into a room that had no heat, and when speaking to the clerk about it we were told that we would have to wait a particular amount of time for the heat to work. She sent a maintenance man up to the room to check on it and the maintenance man clearly stated there was no heat in this room. Without checking for herself the clerk disputed and told me it was working just fine. After arguing with her for almost 15 minutes, we were placed into another room. Her attitude was very nasty, and service was slow. We requested extra towels and it took us having to go downstairs two hours later to get them. We asked for toilet paper and had to go to the store to buy some because they didn't bring it. The clerk then offered us Casino vouchers as a courtesy for the inconvenience. Turns out the vouchers were given to everyone in the hotel as part of their stay. The hotel itself is very clean, and beautiful. However the staff with the exception of a few, is very slack and horrible. In a matter of 48 hours, we had to deal with nasty attitudes, and seeing the clerk place the blame on others. I do not plan on staying here again. Excellent customer service is a must for me with any hotel or any facility and this one was an epic fail!
