Decent choice for the price

Posted Apr 8, 2014
We were able to check in a couple hours early which was nice. One if our beds was missing sheets...the breakfast buffet was nice. I used the hotel valet for the first night we were there and when my car was returned, the girl swung my door open onto the curb that she obviously parked too close to. I then went inside and mentioned that to the front desk and payed for the single day ($32) on a seperate card than the room and we parked in the garage next door. When we received our bill, they charged us for two daysbof valet parking. We called the desk to let them know and she gave us an attitude and denied the removal of fees. We spoke to management and our situation was fixed after a semi-heated discussion. Good breakfast buffet and wet bar came in handy for heating up left overs and reusing cocktail glasses.

Dear AI, Thank you for bringing this to our attention as we really work hard on getting it right the first time, but when we don't it certainly shouldn't cause our guest any additional inconvenience. We hope to welcome you back for a much improved experience. -The Embassy Suites Baltimore Inner Harbor Team

Nice facility.

Pros: Especially appreciated all the ways the staff helped out. Also loved breakfast and having the Starbucks close by.
Cons: In-room WiFi should be provided at no coat. Also, my room was not cleaned and serviced the second day. Had to call housekeeping for clean towels.
Adequate, comfortable room. Wonderful pleasant and helpful staff. Great breakfast.

Very Nice

Pros: staff, location, responsiveness of maintenance staff, good food and drink.
Cons: I know i'm wasting time here, but free parking and internet would have made me way happier.
Great hotel - good staff, good breakfast, happy hour drinks. I was led to believe by Expedia that the parking was free for hotel guests, not so - $16 per day or $32 for valet parking. It's also constantly aggravating to have to pay for good internet service. The free internet in the lobby and dining area was slow and frustrating having to log back on every 5 minutes or so. I wish hotels would just do the right thing and make it free for guests. There were a couple of small problems in my room like a dripping tub faucet and slow tub drain - fixed immediately. And the last night, they lost the hot water for about 8 floors including mine. They relocated me to a very nice king suite with a stunning view of the city. Overall very good experience.

Dear Jeff, Thank you for sharing your honest feedback on your recent experience at the Embassy Suites. We wish that we could offer these amenities like parking and internet free to everyone too, but it ends up negatively affecting our hotel in the long run. It disappoints us to hear of the challenges you faced with the hot water, but glad our team was able to offer a resolution quickly and efficiently. After all, it is the service that always sticks out at the end of the day right? We look forward to serving you again soon. -The Embassy Suites Baltimore Inner Harbor Team

Took advantage of Expedia deal

Posted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: The location near Inner Harbor was convenient and the price was very reasonable.
Cons: The hotel was very busy and it took a while to check in.
Location: Near Inner Harbor which is great for restaurants, shopping, and running around Inner Harbor.
I took a chance at booking an Expedia bargain deal on a three star hotel and it paid off! I received two nights for the price of one at a clean hotel in a great location. It was great. I did not eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the breakfast. But the location and the price were great! The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Be sure to stay here

Posted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: The great bed, the breakfast, and convenient location.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Hotel is close to Inner Harbor, so there's shopping, restaurants, Ft. McHenry, the aquarium, Edgar Allen Poe's house and Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room was well-appointed. However, the big selling point is the breakfast! Normally a "complimentary breakfast" means your choice of cereal or toast. Here, they had a full hot breakfast buffet, several beverage choices, and even an OMELET STATION! I had to ask to be sure we were in the right place because I could believe all of that came with the room! The hotel is also very conveniently located near Baltimore's Inner Harbor and has easy access to the highway. I'm looking forward to staying here again.

Very Friendly Service with lots of Extras

Everyone we interacted with during our stay was wonderful. The free breakfast was delicious and my husband especially loved the cook to order omelet station. My favorite part was the complimentary happy hour. It was nice to have a couple free drinks to unwind before dinner. The staff was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and we found a wonderful Irish pub Mick O'Sheas only 2 blocks from the hotel. We definitely want to make it back there.
