Hot water???

Posted Jul 29, 2015
If you're not familiar with the area or this hotel, you will find yourself parking in a public garage which is right beside the hotel. If you've planned out your day a head, I would advise to take your shower the night before. Our daily plans were delayed 2 hours due to the hot water being out. Also prefer a room not next to the elevators unless you're a heavy sleeper. No exhausts in the bathrooms either, not a big deal.

A beautiful hotel, inner harbor few blocks away.

Posted Jul 29, 2015
For a romantic weekend getaway stay at embassy Suites inner habor Baltimore, MD 7/25/2015 til 7/27/2015 is beautiful with nice view looking from our 34th room window , room/ suites are beautiful and roomy. Flat screen T.V., kitchenette, couch, comfortable dreamy bed, hot buffet breakfast , chief mike made delicious omelettes he's very friendly and enjoy his career as a chief. The other staff are very friendly and helpful. expensive hotel for the elevators to be extremely slow or out of service. Employees should have their own elevators to ride in other than sharing one with the guests . Outside pool is great a slide was up and the adults enjoyed as much as the kids, parking garage next door, walking distance to the inner harbor, shops and Resturants, my husband and I really enjoyed and will visit again.

nice hotel

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: the suite was very large and was like being at home.. had a microwave and refrigerator. staff was very pleasant.
didn't get to enjoy the hotel and area as it was just a quick visit for an appointment.. I thought it was going to be closer to the inner harbor where it is about 10 blocks. they did have a great welcome reception there every night. very pleasant. the restaurant doesn't have much of a selection on their menu. the complimentary breakfast was ok..it was very busy and difficult to get seating. the manager was very accomodating as i asked for later check out however didn't have to take advantage of.

Needs Work

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Housekeeping staff and room cleanliness
Cons: Elevators
Location: It was not near much. However, there was a free bus to take you to the inner harbor and other places.
The hotel experienced a large number of guest the week I was there. I waited one half an hour for the elevator on Sunday trying to go to Church. I was late. There were too many people using the elevator to check out the hotel on time. At the end of my stay the hotel charged me twice and no one was available to help solve the matter before leaving and I had a flight to catch. I was very pleased with the housekeeping staff and the cleanliness of the room. I didn't care for the location. Also the hotel needs some renovations and updating. Melvin A. Shorter

Good value for the money

Our two room suite with a king bed was clean and comfortable. The staff was always friendly and tried to help even when they weren't properly trained. The building is old and could use updating, and the breakfast was only OK. But the location is great and the overall experience was a positive one.

Hotel view

The experience was horrible the TV kept cutting out the bed was uncomfortable all the elevators was very slow we had to take the emergency stairs to get out of the hotel also 70% of the guess was taking the stairs with their luggage because of the elevator . The service we got from the staff members was excellent but we was cut off from breakfast until a staff member came and got us and said we can eat😀unfortunately I would not stay there again or recommend any of my friends or family until the problems is fixed.

Pros: The room was spacious - actually bigger than my Manhattan apartment - small kitchen, sitting area, walk-in closet and bathroom. Wonderful!
Location: Very close to everything. We walked about 5 blocks to the Harbor.
We had a great stay. Arrived and got to the room easily and without issues. Terrific reception on 2nd floor and exceptional breakfast. Staff was attentive.

Excellent location

Great hotel, great breakfast. Self park is $16 for 24 hours. Parking is next door. It is always a good experience at the embassy suite hotels. Every where I go in the states, I try to look for a hotel from this chain.
