Our Stay at the Fairfield Inn

Pros: The room presentation was very good . Lobby, Hallway, Elevator and room were very clean.
Cons: Not a thring comes to mind.
Location: Not far from Washington D.C. and other local attractions. Great restaurants within walking distance of the Inn making it very convenient.
Our stay was very pleasant and restful. After a long day of driving we were in need of a comfortable and quiet room to rest ourselves, the Fairfield fit the bill.

Amazing customer service!

Pros: The hotel decor was modern and the room was comfortable and clean. The ultra-modern desk was user friendly and offered ample work space for 3 people.
Cons: The true cost of transportation to the airport should be updated.
Location: There are multiple restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance and unlimited local options if you have a car.
This hotel is clearly well run and all the staff have excellent customer service skills. Everyone from the front desk staff to the maids and the maintenance team had a pleasant greeting whenever contact was made. I felt there was a genuine interest in my well being, something that is missing from most hotels these days. I had to be one of those demanding guests due to a business interview I needed to conduct. I required a room change, furniture to be rearranged and extra chairs brought to the room, all of which was handled without any fuss. The hotel's website states that the local shuttle service to Baltimore - Washington Airport costs $27 (but it was $35) and that a taxi is $35 (but it was estimated at $55). I'm disappointed to see that still has not been fixed for the benefit of future hotel guests.

AC did not work at all when I checked in, the desk person said there was nothing he could do, there was not a maintenance person, and he would not move me to another room. It was 8pm or I would have tried to find another room.

Heading South

A little bit farther from I-95 than I expected, but easy to get back on southbound the next morning. Definitely worth it for the price and quality of our stay. Friendly staff.
