Overall a good hotel. There could have been some more amenities like refrigerators in the room, and more vending options.

Disappointing for a HiltonPosted Feb 28, 2015
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean.
Cons: Water pressure Elevators Check in speed It would be nice if there was a mini refrigerator in the room. Many other hotels offer this gratis.
Location: We went to Sliders Bar and Grill right behind the Hilton. The food was very tasty and the prices were great.
We stayed at the Hilton for two nights 2/20 & 2/21 for a conference. The check in process was somewhat long because there was only two people working the desk on a Friday at 4:00 pm (check in time). When we checked in, we were told we didn't need to give our credit card because they already had it from the reservation. This was inaccurate and on the second day of the conference, when we went to return to our 10th floor room for the lunch break, our keys didn't work. So we were told to go to the front desk where we had to wait again to get it straightened out. The elevators took a long time and were insufficient for the amount of people in the hotel. Most of the time, one of them was out of order. At one point, we actually walked up the 10 flights of stairs rather than wait. The water pressure during the peak morning hours was not strong enough and was just above a trickle. When we were checking out, there was an erroneous $88 charge on our bill. I had to talk to the front desk twice about making sure it was removed. Parking is $28 per day.

Very busy weekend at a very busy hotelPosted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: Proximity to downtown B'more; staff did their best under difficult circumstances (bad weather, very heavily booked) and breakfast buffet was nice.
Cons: Fix your elevators and/or direct guests to stairs rather than requiring them to wander around the lower floors looking for stairwell access!
Location: Plenty to do…guess it's still the go-to hotel if you are in town to see the Orioles or Ravens play in one of the stadiums next door.
This was a last minute deal to grab a room for a family of four so that we could attend an arts/crafts fair at the Baltimore Convention Center next door with other family members from out of town. There was a fairly serious snowstorm, and it seemed like that, combined with the hotel being overbooked and understaffed, made for a less than ideal stay. First, for a hotel with 20+ floors, it seemed a little crazy that only 1 or 2 elevators were working and there was a 15-20 minute wait at times to get up to our room. Shockingly, stairs were not easily accessible or clearly marked, either. Second, we requested a roll-away bed upon arriving in our room, and waited 5 hours (and made 4 additional phone calls to the desk) before it arrived. Third, our room was stocked with 1 bath towel, and that took about 2 hours and several phone calls to resolve. Fourth, we had a rusted out and dusty ice bucket. Fifth, we got someone else's bill under the door even though we pre-paid for the room. What hotel chain is this?? Finally, while the room itself was otherwise okay, we were unable to use our Hilton Honors codes to access wifi, and could not resolve the issue during our stay.

Nice hotel. Connected to the convention center .Posted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: Connected to the convention center. Buffet was excellent.
Cons: Parking lot validation that was included with the room. I had to go to an office window to have my parking validated. It should be streamlined.
Location: Camden yards ball field across the street. Convention attached to the hotel.
The hotel was very nice and the restaurant inside the hotel was excellent. The buffet was very good. The only problem we had during our stay was that the President was having a meeting at the hotel. About 300 local, city, state police, federal agents and secret service were providing security for the president and had blocked off the parking garage and entrance to the hotel. We had to circle around several times before being allowed to pull in. Other then that the hotel was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.
