“No frills Hotel”

The nearest place to eat is 2 miles away. There's nothing aroud the hotel, literally the place is sitting on the highway and is surrounded by demolitioned lots and warehouses. Continental breakfast is below par. Good guest services, no room service, poor internet connections.

“Good hotel for location”

Baltimore is a little inconvenient if the intention is to head to Washington DC. However, the hotel do offer regular shuttle service which help alleviate problem.

“NOT WHAT I EXPECTED”

I really wasn't happy using the shuttle service into the city. Many people were crammed in at the same time and it was airless and uncomfortable. Also, I was told that the shuttle was available every hour on the hour but when I needed to come back to the hotel midday, and I called 30 minutes ahead of time, I was told that the service wouldn't be available at the next scheduled time so I would need to wait an additional hour. I didn't feel as though it was safe to walk back and it was quite a distance so I took a cab. It wasn't awful but I felt as though it shouldn't have happened when I was promised this service. One of the shuttle drivers was wonderful but the other drove like a crazy person and played loud music in the shuttle! Lastly, upon leaving, I made a wrong turn and accidently drove through the surrounding neighborhood and was appalled by the conditions. It was not a good neighborhood. In the future I will pay the extra money and stay in the city.

“Unless you are on business, inconvienent and overpriced.”

The amenities are fine. Decent bed, breakfast, pool. The rooms are very outdated, old crt tv's, ugly decor. They free shuttle service, is just a gimmick. If it's busy, forget being able to ride in the shuttle. They accommodate approx 6 people an hour... Parking is also out of line for a hotel not downtown. $10 a day for the 1st car, $25 a day for each additional car. The vending machines were all empty and nothing but a gas station is within walking distance...

“Cheaper Inner Harbor Hotel Choice with drawbacks”

We stayed at the hotel for one night 6/26/09 while on our way back from Washington DC. The hotel is farther from the Inner Harbor area than other hotels, and you will need to get the hotel shuttle or a cab to get to the harbor area. Waiting for the shuttle could be an issue as it only runs once an hour. Hotel is OK for the price. We had to have our first room changed due to musty smell and ceiling plaster in the bathroom falling down into the tub. The other family we were traveling with had to have their room changed due to broken A/C unit. We went to the Orioles game that night and walked back to the hotel afterward - kind of scary. The surrounding neighborhood is not too good. If you walk several blocks in the wrong driection you could be in trouble. Overall not a bad hotel for a one-night stay in Baltimore Inner Harbor area. If you are worried about safety or proximity to the harbor attractions, you might want to stay somewhere else.

“Be careful.”

I recently stayed here for 2 nights for the Mets/Orioles games. stadiums are about 1/2 mile away. Free hotel shuttles on the hour. Cabs are about 4 bucks. The interior lobby was nice, small business center with 2 computers which are free to use. Nice pool and gym. Complimentary breakfast was ok, its free. The parking lot is gated and 10 bucks a day. The hallway on my floor was about 150 degrees. The room was ok, dated and kinda stale. Fridge was a bonus. Be careful outside, its a ghetto, squeegie men and beggars all around, not a place to bring kids. They advertise free papers, I went down Sunday and was told "not on weekends" went down monday at 9am and was told "all gone", minor annoyance. Went next door to the gas station to get the paper and was asked for change twice by homeless men within hotel grounds, gas station attendant is boxed in by bullet proof glass, felt like the south bronx. The hotel is alright for game use and thats about it, I felt it was very overpriced and would not stay here again.
