No refrigerator. A very basic place to stay, without a lot of things we would consider standard.

Conference at John Hopkins in Laurel, MDPosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: It was close to John Hopkins and had a prompt and courteous shuttle bus service.
Location: There is an Outback Steakhouse right next door, and a mini market on the corner that sells soft drinks, snacks, etc..
I was in town for a conference at John Hopkins in Laurel, MD. I booked this hotel because it was close to there. It turns out there was a hotel shuttle bus to the conference. I didn't know this until I mentioned it to the clerk. This is very convenient and is a feature that should be promoted as a benefit of the hotel. Everything else about the hotel was also great; very clean building, nice employees, and it is right next to Outback Steakhouse. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice staff but old and dated.Posted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: The staff.
Cons: The equipments should be changed.
The receptionist who checked me in and out was fantastic. Room is clean but equipments, eg Fridge, microwave, coffee maker and electrical outlets are shaky and broken. It's scary. The pillows are small, even smaller in size than the standard. Mattress is okay.

Pros: Great staff
Cons: The wifi
Location: Everything is a short drive, use the metro to go into DC its a time saver and you dont have the worry of parking
Great hotel close to highway for easy access off and on, metro is a short drive, very clean, excellent staff, quiet, wifi bumps you off often but other than that hotel is great we would stay here again.

Over the night stayPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: Friendly service, comfortable, convenient, and great for my budget
Cons: I did have a special request that was not filled but it was just for fun! I wanted folded towels like you get on a cruise.
Location: My boyfriend and I went to the Virgin Mobile Freefest at the Merriweather Pavilion and it wasn't too far or too close.
I went to a concert over at the Merriweather Pavilion and this hotel was a great price and wasn't too far. Checked in later due to the concert and Francis at the front desk was awesome! He was friendly and help my boyfriend and me out. Our stay was cozy and pleasant.

The staff were absolutely great wish I could give their names!! my only regret was the pool was to cold heater seemed to be out of service. Breakfast was really very nice. Right off of I-95 very convenient would return to this HI. The Outback attached was surprisingly very nice and the personnel were very accommodating.
