“Very happy!”
My daughter and I stayed at Home 2 Home Suites in Baltimore while visiting colleges, and were very pleased with the hotel. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was convenient for washing travel mugs and microwaving beverages - not essential but handy nonetheless. Everything was very clean, and after staying in more traditional and older hotels for the first part of the week, it was refreshing to have the crisp and modern decor. The large flat screen TV, comfortable sofa bed and spacious room were appreciated as well, and the large desk made for a great work space to catch up while away. We walked around the corner for dinner, and while not as interesting a neighborhood as the Inner Harbor, it was fine for the one night. All in all, it worked out very well, and I plan to stay there again with my husband and son if she does go to college in Baltimore!
“Great room a little ways from inner harbor”
New hotel with great staff.
“Perfectly met our needs. We walked everywhere!”
We enjoyed our stay here - a no frills hotel but very clean and modern - reminded us of modern euro-hotels we've stayed in. Rooms are like a modern studio apt. Green materials - bamboo instead of wood, carpet that seems made of some sort of green materails. Bed comfortable and the whole hotel was very quiet. It's on a not very attractive block, but at the corner is one of the mail streets - and a stop for the free shuttle bus to take you to museums in one direction and the inner harbor in the other. We found great restaurants in walking distance. Try Casbah if you like middle-eastern food . THere's an irish pub on the corner that is great for lunch. We would definitely return.
“Great! Short walking distance from 1st Mariner Arena.”
We wanted a hotel to stay in after a concert within walking distance to the 1st Mariner Arena. I picked this hotel on the decor first, The modern style caught my eye right away. When we arrived we were greeted with smiling friendly faces at the front desk. The lobby was bright, clean, colorful and inviting! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom was immaculate (I'm a stickler for clean bathrooms). The bed was comfortable and the linens were fresh. The only downside was the parking, we used the valet service (unlimited in and out) but there are nearby self-park garages. We caught a cab to the arena and walked back to the hotel. Walking distance was about 5-7 minutes. I definitely will be staying here again!!!
“AWESOME HOTEL!!”
I took my girl here to stay in the city for our 5 year anniversary and let me tell you, the hotel did NOT dissapoint, a good conntinental breakfast and the fact that EVERYONE you talk to is super friendly and actually seem like they enjoy doing their job, its pretty modern and an all around joy to be there. I would recommend this play to anyone and everyone, in fact I'm going to book my next years trip next week because of how awesome this place was.
“Home 2 you”
this was the first time i stayed here and i think it was nice.
“nice place in baltimore”
Very nice, unique hotel. Parking was a pain, but otherwise excellent.
“Watch Out!”
Where do I begin with the problems. Well here goes 1. If you want to park you pay $25 per day; Plan on it. Otherwise you have no real choice. 2. Rooms are not cleaned. I found the cereal dropped by the prior occupant all over the floor. 3. The TV remote was not working. 4. Shower stall has shampoo and soap dispenser but they are empty. 5. Worst free breakfast by far. 6. Noisy like you would not believe. Apparently Baltimore is haunted by zombies who want to talk business in the middle of the street at 4 AM in the morning.
“nice, quaint, clean hotel”
hotel exceeded my expectations. location was great, being walkable distance to the inner harbor and downtown area. may be quiet at night but coffee shops and other stores on n charles st doesn't make the area seem too deserted, at least in the daytime. close to an excellent supermarket a few blocks away, especially convenient for people staying in the suite with kitchen. breakfast is not extraordinary, but substantial. fitness room and complimentary laundry was definitely a plus. I will definitely stay here again when visiting baltimore!
“Great new Hilton”
Great value, free breakfast, free laundry and a well equipped fitness center. Very comfortable bed.Great hotel staff.
