Excellent place to stay

Posted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: Its Downtown location, guest facilities and helpful staff.
Location: Easy walking distance to the Inner Harbor and Mount Vernon areas and one of the Charm City Circulator Free Bus services stops at the street corner as
I'd not stayed in one of these Home2 Suites before so didn't know what to expect. Thoroughly impressed with the place and the freindly staff working there. Was pleasantly surprised that a Continental breakfast was available from 06.00-09.00 each day, as that was not expected when I made the booking. Was having a "car free" trip, so was using public transport to get around and the hotel is located more or less halfway between Penn Station and Camden Station, which was my initial reason for choosing the hotel as my hotel to stay in for the duration of the trip. The Light Rail service from BWI Airport stops only a few blocks away as well.

Very bright and clean, helpful & friendly staff

I stayed on my own at Home 2 Suites, as an international traveller I sought the assistance of the hotel staff almost daily with various enquiries and they were always extremely helpful, friendly, and informative. I also found the hotel and the room to be very tidy, spacious, and bright. I would definitely stay again!

Great bed, nice bathroom but water in shower wasn't dependably warm. Liked the kitchen, desk details.

Centralized hotel with great staff

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Workout Center, Laundry Station, Complimentary Breakfast, Kitchenette, Large Bathroom, WiFi and print center
Cons: Dusting of the kitchenette shelves prior to guests checking in. Larger pan for the induction stove top.
Location: Inner Harbor for shopping and eating. Fells point for nightlife. Power plant for nightlife.
Home 2 Suites by Hilton is an excellent place to stay while away from home. The large bathroom and kitchenette area gives you the feeling of home. The free WiFi and print center is a bonus for those on business travel. I also appreciated the workout center and the laundry amenities. During the 5 nights that I spent at Home 2 Suites by Hilton in Baltimore, MD, I hardly felt I was away from home.

Nice hotel,comfortable

Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: The Bed was very comfortable, bathroom very clean and room very spacious .
Cons: The room/suit had a dishwasher with dirty dishes from the previous guest. I thought that was gross. It was difficult to find parking.
Location: Close to the Baltimore harbor and a number of fine restaurants
We enjoyed our stay, it was pleasant, and a nice getaway.

Home2 Suites Baltimore - Meh.

Posted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: Uh - it was inexpensive. (You get what you pay for.)
Cons: See above.
Location: This is close to the Lyric Opera House, but you better know your way by yourself - no one can help you. (I even had to pull up directions for my cab.)
The room is only a "suite" if you count closing a hospital curtain as giving you a private room - because that's basically all this was - a room with a curtain between the bed and the couch. The staff were - uh - adequate. They knew how to check us in, but couldn't direct us to local destinations. The valet took about 25 minutes to get our car. The breakfast was - in a word - awful. No fresh fruit (other than Granny Smith apples on the front desk - ever eat a Granny Smith???). Overall - it's a bed. That's it.
