Pros: The complementary breakfast
The room would have been perfect were it not for very loud rock music coming from some nearby venue until about 1:30 am.

Cons: If you know a room is not suitable for someone to stay in, inform the customer.
Based on the online reviews, I decided to book this hotel. The hotel staff and valet were friendly once we checked-in. The problem with our stay occurred once we entered our room. Despite being a non-smoking hotel, once we entered the hotel room we were overwhelmed with the smell of cigarette smoke. There was a smoke fan running and the windows were opened to air out the room. There was in astray in the room as well. Clearly, someone had smoked in the room. When we called the front desk to notify them we were not satisfied with the room, we were told that they would provide us a different room. Even though we paid for a king suite, our only choice was to either cancel the reservation without a refund, or take a double room for the same rate. There was no apology for the inconvenience. While we were waiting for someone to bring us a key to a different room, a startled housekeeper entered the room. She was in shock that they allowed people to stay in a room that was still be aired out.Despite the condition of the room, the hotel management somehow believe it was still suitable for people to stay in it. After waiting for 20 minutes, the supervisor came to our room to inspect the room. She offered to give us a voucher to restaurant inside the hotel as well as gift card to a movie theater. The voucher to the restaurant came in handy since it was late and we had to cancel our original reservation at a different restaurant.

Perfect Family HotelPosted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Location, Staff, Layout
Location: Aquarium, Inner Harbor, Port Discovery
My family and I just completed our stay at this Hotel and can say Hilton is doing something very right! The staff, the layout, the location, all perfect for a family with small children weekend trip. Starting with the location, the Hotel is easy walking distance to all of the major area attractions. We parked our car using the valet parking service and then walked with our two children, aged 2 and 4, to all of the inner harbor sights. The hotel was close enough to return for afternoon snacks and naps, and then back out for more fun. The staff could not have been more accommodative or friendlier. I am actually writing a letter to Hilton corporate to commend them on their employee/management selection and training process. I have traveled quite a bit, and can say this is by far the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. The hotel facility is ideally suited to family travel. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable décor and layout for families with children. Overall, an excellent stay, thank you!

Pros: The room was comfortable, clean, and very quiet! Homewood Suites not only offered a warm breakfast every morning, but also an evening meal M - TH
Cons: nothing, it is excellent as is!
Location: Located in the Inner Harbor, close to the National Aquarium, Historic Ships, Civil War Museum, take bus to B&O RR museum, Fort McHenry, etc
This hotel was absolutely terrific! It is close to the harbor, restaurants, museums, etc. We could walk or take the Charm City free bus to museums, Ft. Henry, charming neighborhoods to explore. All of the staff at the hotel from the front desk manager to the room maids were friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, the desk clerk could not find our reservation, even though we had paperwork with our reservation number. The manager called Expedia to sort out the problem; apparently Expedia did not follow through with Homewood Suites to set up our reservation. The manager offered us refreshments while we were waiting.

Great Experience and locationPosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: When we went into our room it smelled of smoke so we complained and they moved us immediately. Very accommodating.
Cons: We booked the hotel online a couple months and ordered a King bed. But when we got there we were told that they only had rooms with single beds.
Location: Awesome location between Baltimore Harbor and Fells Point. Starbucks & Movie theater close and convenient. Great restaurants walking distance.
The room was very comfortable and the complimentary hot breakfast each day was great. The entire staff was very helpful and pleasant to work with. We booked the hotel online a couple months and ordered a King bed. But when we got there we were told that they only had rooms with single beds. They did not offer us any compensation for the difference. They didn't even have a queen bed available.

We were walking distance to everything. Also, a movie theatre, whole food supermarket and shopping. Parking just around the corner, which we could take the elevator right up to the lobby of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends
